    Jose Reyes or Felix Hernandez. I would steer clear of Alex Rodriguez because if you're starting a team, chances are that they won't be a contender for four or five years down the road, and he would be 35 or 36 years old at that point.

    The whole "left handed batter against right handed pitcher" idea is completely overrated when the left handed batter is terrible against said pitcher. Two batters, two strikeouts for Beckett.
