  1. Well, all of the games are elimination games at this point. The MLB postseason schedule is already completely set, right? So if we have four sweeps, the second round won't come any sooner than it would have with all game fives, right?
  2. Kentucky's making a game of it against Alabama. Their offense has been atrocious, but they just scored to make it 14-7. edit: Too bad, too... because now I have to flip back and forth between that game, Auburn/Vandy, and in about 15 minutes here, Brewers/Phillies Also, you'll never convince me that 'Bama is the second best team in the country at this point. I guess they're at #2 kind of by default, but still...
  3. Technically he's already at 0-3 if you count "Angels celebrate in Fenway." Your call on that one, though.
  4. Not a bad start for Papelbon.
  5. Got him! We really got hosed on the Rivera walk, though...
  6. That was high? That was a strike to a Sox player an inning or two ago...
  7. Maybe, but with a four run lead, why risk it?
  8. s***. Could've been a lot worse, though.
  9. Five two-out runs... I love it.
  10. Certainly Gary Matthews Jr.
  11. Wow... just barely. Hope Hunter didn't hurt himself too badly there.
  12. This 3-4-5 is scary, even with two outs.
  13. Ugh... Uribe sucks. Kazmir is at 37 pitches already.
  14. He thought Balfour was showing Uribe up by screaming after every pitch. I didn't mind what O-Cab did... I minded the result of the at-bat, though. Kazmir's not looking good... bases loaded, none out, Konerko up. I'd love to see Konerko deposit one into the left field seats right about now.
  15. For sure. The Brian Griese days seem like forever ago. He wasn't the worst QB ever, but having to fill Elway's shoes did him in, though I guess his numbers are as "good" as they were because of how much talent he had around him. I remember his second season as the starter was great, then he suffered an injury against the Raiders and was never the same after that. Against this Broncos defense... he might finally show those Elway-esque flashes we expected from him.
  16. 3-3... but that throw was amazing. And now 4-3. Javy sucks. Longoria's amazing.
  17. 2-8 against the Angels this year... :D They excorcised their demons against us in the regular season, but this one's gotta get us right back in their heads, eh?
  18. Papi comes through! Hell yes! Love me some insurance!
  19. Jacoby's the man. Shades of last October...
