Eh, Jake Plummer deserves every bit of criticism he'll be getting this off-season. Can't say I'm too happy with Shanahan either, this team showed absolutely no sense of urgency.
Plummer reverted back into his old self, can't say I blame him too much, with the defense playing god-awful and the running game ineffective, and trailing by a good margin, he tried to make plays to win the game because nobody else seemed to, and that's when he's at his worst. This team needs another WR. They were interested in Owens, last I heard when he first got suspended. I hope that's still the case.
As for the defensive side of the ball -- when you get burned by Cedric Wilson, it's a problem. Domonique Foxworth was absolutely dreadful -- why give them a 9 yard cushion every time when every time they need a play, they use that cushion you give 'em to run hook for the first down? Ugh. 2 dropped interceptions, the first one by Champ, the second by Lynch late (would've been a touch catch for any safety, but it was makable).
When they start 3 of their first 6 possessions on your side of the 50, you're not going to win.
And get off the 'The Patriots lost blah blah' thing. With the exception of those vanity points when the game was in little doubt, you were outscored by Champ Bailey's INT and the TD run that followed it. And yes, the pressure on Brady forced the interception.
