Being in the shittiest division in baseball, I'm not giving up on NL West just yet. We're starting to get everyone healthy. AND we still have six games against the Padres (4-8 vs. LA). I just wish we could play the Padres as many times as Kris Benson does his wife every week during the offseason. However, whoever wins that piece of s*** division, that team will get spanked by the Cardinals.

You forgot the best rivalry in baseball, Dodgers-Giants (IF you go by statistics). For the interleague, it's Dodgers-Angels. Arte Moreno promptly made it more "exciting" by calling his Orange County team a Los Angeles team.

Of course he's that desperate. What, you think the old schedule will make fans return? The new schedule is like the baseball schedule. You don't think it'll help the hockey fan base? I like this new format. As for the All-Star Game not happening, only if the NHL sends players to the 2006 Winter Olympics, which I don't think they will.

Rex Hudler and Steve Physioc of the Newport Beach Angels of Santa Ana of Orange County or whatever their name is now. Those f***ers are not boring, but they're certainly annoying. Steve Physioc's drama is almost as bad as Ken Harrelson's homerun and strike out calls. Dickheads.

If Baylor is successful in signing Bonzi Wells and re-signing Marko Jaric, Mikki Moore, and Zelcko (sp?) Rebraca, we'd be good. Now that's a big if. I agree with you, with a thin bench we have so far, we are not playoff contenders.
