i'm going to the boston v A's series in sept. What are some places to check out in boston before and after the game.

i'm heading out to boston for the red sox v.s A's series in sept. I'm from california but have been a boston fan for years and can't wait for this trip i need some help though. I would like to get some info on places to checkout while i'm there for two games. what about after the games?
