  1. So does he make it home? I guess no.
  2. Wakefield is always a second away from either causing me to praise his very existence or just die.
  3. My prediction: Wakefield goes 6IP, 6H, 3ER. Youk goes 2-4 with a walk and a three-run jack Drew goes 1-4 with a solo homer Ellsbury goes 3-3 with a walk and a double Lugo commits 12 errors, grounds into 7 triple plays, grounds into a quadruple play, strikes out on two pitches, gets caught stealing once, and accidentally breaks Josh Beckett's foot with a gatorade cooler in the dugout. Sox win 8-3, and Lugo is set afire by the grounds crew during the 7th inning stretch.
  4. I hate Julio Lugo with a passion. A passion that burns with the intensity of a thousand stars. Were I so able, I would strike him down with a single blow from a mighty battle-ax. Die, Julio Lugo, die, and may a curse and a debilitating plague be cast upon your descendants for a hundred thousand generations.
  5. Im hoping this day ends with Youk at like 2-11...
  6. Neither could Hughes, luckily. Ohlendorf in now.
  7. I dont mind the 4 walks by Dice-K. 2007 Dice-K would have had a meltdown in the sixth with the bases loaded. I'd love for him to stop walking people, obviously, but I'm just as happy with him working around them.
  8. Haha Polanco. Thought you were gonna get another fastball, didn't you?
  9. Edgar Renteria with a groundball to the pticher. Stabbed by Dice-K...he has it...he underhands to first...and the Red Sox are...oh, wait.
  10. Dustin should legally change his name to Pedroier so everyone says it like Remy does.
  11. Wow. Talk about a poor start to the season. Where is the NL's highest-scoring, lead OBP team from last year?
  12. http://www.nestle.ca/NR/rdonlyres/15DD625C-C4C7-4723-8E6B-A7600EEFE52E/0/201445_BF_59gwrapw2_3D.jpg Now endorsed by Red Sox shortstop Julio Lugo.
  13. John McDonald, Connecticut represent. Hooah!
  14. Yeah, he's on a 75-80 pitch limit. I mean, if he's doing extremely well, Tito might leave him in longer, but this early in the season I'd rather they SCORE SOME STUPID GODDAMN MOTHERf***ING RUNS so Beckett can leave in the sixth with a comfortable lead in line for the win.
  15. Wow, half our lineup has beat the crap out of Roy Halladay. Is it too much to ask for this team to score more than four or five runs yet?
  16. Finally the Sox remembering exactly how much Alan Embree and Lenny DiNardo suck. Maybe we can beat up on Foulke in the top of the ninth.
  17. Remember a few seasons ago when we looked at the Tigers like we look at the Royals, Pirates, or Rays? The Royals that just shut out the Tigers new lineup?
  18. I learned something new today, apparently the Sox slipped to fourth on the payroll list. I hadn't even heard.
