    I work from 1130PM to 800AM, and I have to leave at 1030. No time to sit and eat when the game starts at 10. And during the week I try to get some sleep during the day so I can't always make it for the regular timed games. But I'll try!

    The fact that we have a 'Reasons for Optimism Thread' by game 5 of a 162-game season is a reason for optimism, because fully half of the Sox fans on this board freak out and start uriniating on themselves and chewing the ends of their fingers off whenever the Sox win less than 4 of their first five games. They'll be fine. You want some reasons for optimism? This is a good team This is a great team This team will make the playoffs This team has a legitimate shot at winning the World Series This team has won World Series titles recently This is almost the exact same team that won in 2007 I said so ...That last one is a big reason. Now shutupandquitcherwhining. Go Sox.
