  1. What part of stop going after each other was I not clear about a few minutes ago? Just leave it alone.
  2. Oh my God, you have to be kidding me. The Sox are 17-3. This guy just struck out 10 and walked 2 in a no-hitter. The Sox were outplayed by a team that is currently third or fourth in runs scored. Enough with the whining, it's a loss for the Sox and a win for baseball history. They'll come out swinging tomorrow.
  3. Natick, SoxHop, StephenCurry, enough already. The Sox are losing a game after starting off 17-2. I think things will be alright, you guys need to lay off each other.
  4. 7IP, 3ER, 10Ks. I'll take that most nights.
  5. Look, if this is what ends the Sox' winning streak, I'm cool with that. You can say the Sox get no-hit, or you can say it took a no-hitter to stop them. It's all in the phrasing.
  6. Definitely, we should trade him for CC Sabathia right now, we need a guy who can pitch in October. Maybe we can throw in Jackie Bradley Jr. if they won't just take Sale.
  7. Okay everyone needs to calm the hell down. The Sox are losing, yes, but if anyone remembers the Sox have won a lot of games leading up to this. Realistically, they were going to lose one eventually. And this kid is pitching a hell of a game. I don't want the Sox to get no-hit, but if they get to the last out I'll probably be rooting for the guy to get it. Everyone needs to stop sniping at each other and just relax. If they lose, they lose. The game isn't over yet.
  8. Watch live, almost none. I almost always listen to games on the radio, and if I'm online I'll follow them on Gameday. The only TV in my house is in my parent's room, so I only watch parts of games on the TVs at work when I'm there. I prefer the radio anyways, and I can listen to it almost anywhere as opposed to the TV, which I can only get at home or - if I pay a lot of money AND happen to be in a spot with good service - on my phone.
  9. It's so strange how sports makes someone seem so much older. Pedroia is only a few years older than me (I turn 31 next month), but as far as being a baseball player he might as well be pushing 60 the way people look at him. I guess it didn't help that he started going bald at about 16.
  10. Why? The Yankees are losing more than enough for the both of us!
  11. The Sox have more slams right now than a couple teams have wins.
  12. Another grand slam, you've got to be kidding me!
  13. Francona has done alright since leaving the Sox. Given his health issues, I doubt he'll manage another team after Cleveland, but I think he's proven that he could.
  14. That DP by Simmons and Kinsler was pretty awesome. Respect.
  15. Well they can't win every game by 10 runs I guess. Just hold it here.
  16. According to Gameday, the second base umpire was replaced by someone named "No Umpire". I like that guy.
  17. Mookie Betts is stuck on cheat code mode.
  18. Adding Pedroia to the lineup will improve it offensively the same way adding candy corn to the Halloween aisle at the store improves Halloween. Marginally, or more likely not at all. You do it anyways because it's expected, it makes people happy, and it's not really Halloween without it.
  19. I just googled it, apparently they lowered the line from the top of the wall (18ft) to there (8ft) during this past offseason. I don't understand why they didn't shorten the wall. It makes no sense to have a line in the middle of the wall. HR lines should be set up so that any ball going over them goes out of the park. Sometimes they'll hit a short ledge and bounce back, but there should definitely not be a situation where half of the HRs hit in your park are playable off of the wall.
  20. I just watched the video of the Devers slam. What the hell is up with that wall? The yellow line is just flat against the middle of the wall? I don't think I've ever seen that before.
  21. I feel like there's a Denny's joke with all of these Grand Slams, but I really can't put it together for some reason. Someone else should.
  22. So the Red Sox are really good at grand slams.
  23. Bautista signs a minor league contract with the Braves. How the mighty have fallen.
  24. The boos for Stanton are raining down hard at the Stadium and rumors are swirling about dropping him in the batting order. As with everything else, I know it's early but oh man does this just rock my world.
  25. 6 home runs on the night, a night I went into just hoping they'd hold their own against Otani and hoping even more that Price wouldn't implode.
