  1. You know, I don't usually go off about how much I dislike a player for the Sox. I usually reserve judgement until he's become so bad that it's obvious to all. But I really, really hate Cameron and want him gone.
  2. Saltalaantidisestablishmentarianismmacchia!
  3. Damn...really should have scored more than one during that. Make it stand, Clay.
  4. I believe David Price was quoted as saying he really wanted to pitch against the Red Sox. Wish granted.
  5. Is something wrong with Ellsbury?
  6. You're all just encouraging him. He knows the Guardians suck, he's just trying to be an annoying Cleveland-obsessive troll, and he's succeeding. Just ignore him.
  7. They'd better call someone up from AAA, because the wheels are coming off.
  8. Beckett is batting 10th? Shouldn't he be ahead of Drew?
  9. Well, that's just unfortunate.
  10. I hate Johnny Damon so much.
  11. Yeah, really. I'd prefer the Sox playing the Brewers or Cardinals or something. Hell, even the Giants. The Phillies are scary.
  12. We've had a drastic increase in breast .gifs the last couple weeks. Before that we went years without this just becoming another site where every other post is a .gif or a 'funny' captioned photo instead of an actual comment.
  13. The Guardians were 1-9 in their last 10 before the win tonight, and had a record of 10-23 between May 1st and June 7th, when MLB.com's power rankings were released. They are going downhill fast. By the end of June they will be in at least third place. There was no way they were going to keep playing the way they were in April, any more than the Red Sox were going to.
  14. They would never dissolve teams with an extended history, though. The Pirates have been around basically since the beginning, and the Astros have been around for a very long time. The only way they could get rid of teams would be to dissolve any of the 90s expansion teams, but the problems start there too. The Rockies and Diamondbacks are popular teams, Colorado by itself draws big crowds. The Rays are a highly competitive team with some young talent and would be obviously reluctant to go. That leaves basically the Marlins. The only other option would seem to be maybe the Nationals, but even they have a lot going in Strasburg and Harper and would probably fight a dissolution.
  15. Can't they move Lowrie to third and play Ortiz at shortstop?
  16. Yeah, really. I know nothing about basketball beyond the basic 'how they score points' and 'names of teams' sort of thing. In fact, I hate basketball altogether. (The sport generally, not the NBA). After this week, constantly being bombarded with reporting on the goings-on from the radio and television sports outlets, not to mention the internet, I am actually rooting hard for Dallas and a bunch of guys I've never heard of to beat a guy I've only heard of because he's acting like a giant douche.
  17. Alex Rodriguez bobbleheads sell for millions of dollars! AROD JERSEYS ARE LISTED SEPERATELY ON THE STOCK MARKET!
  18. Yes. The Boston Red Sox are, in my opinion, a fine baseball team.
  19. I am going to be so happy on the day when Freddy Garcia begins pitching like...well, Freddy Garcia. It's going to be beautiful, like the blooming of a corpse flower, the beaching of a majestic whale, or the passionate, natural beauty of a mating pair of howler monkeys.
  20. Adrian Gonzalez is ready for the HOF right now, if, (as I assume), HOF is an acronym for Hall Of f***ingawesome.
  21. Oh, I have the strangest feeling he will.
