Wow, the Sox lose two in a row, and look who shows up? I swear, I could set my watch by you if my silky smooth sensitive skin allowed me to wear a watch without chafing.
I'm sure everyone is in a bad mood about the loss. Since the Sox are still awesome, I thought I'd let you all see this to make you a little happier:

The game would never have gone into extra innings if the Sox had scored during any of the chances they had in the first nine. Morales pitched well in his first inning, and Farrell chose to try to get a second inning out of him rather than work yet another pitcher.
When? When Ortiz GIDP? When the Sox had the bases loaded and didn't score? When Drew GIDP? Exactly when did John Farrell have the opportunity to win this game? Was he supposed to pinch-hit? The players lost this game.
Game 1 was the insertion of the dagger. Game 2 was the twist. Game 3 will be the removal and disembowelment. Get it done. From today onward, the Yankees will be known as the Guardians, because of the Trail of Tears leading from the visitor's dugout back to their team plane. f*** them up.
Lineups by VA, game notes by Thunder. Strikeouts by Buchholz.
Go Sox.
My favorite part about Ellsbury and Victorino is how the big outfields work so well for them both defensively and offensively. Run down a liner in the bottom of the inning, triple in the top. It's awesome having both of these guys on one roster.
