    I think Price is a big boy, you don't need to blame the crowd. Part of being an athlete is tuning out opposing fans. And lest we forget, the Sox scored 5 runs in the inning in which Myers made that error, but they scored 7 more later in the game.

    Just caught the replay of the RBI by Victorino as I was walking back from the kitchen (stepdad has it on the TV). Nice move by the umpire to move the bat out of Ellsbury's way.

    True, but it's still great to see a Sox team that is such a terror on the basepaths, after so many years of having maybe one guy at a time capable of stealing bases.

    Speed is awesome. Two runs on a wild pitch and an infield single. Can you imagine the 2004 team doing that in a postseason game? Millar would have passed out, Mueller would have broken a hip, Manny would have stopped halfway between 2nd and 3rd to pick dandelions, and Bellhorn would have swung at the wild pitch both as it came in and after it bounced.

    His first post was fine, his last one was what I was referring to. Besides, as long as I'm not making homophobic slurs and over-the-top death wishes, insulting Yankees fans is still worthwhile. He knows it's going to happen, it just needs to be dialed back to a 6 or 7 out of 10, instead of 15. In other words, when you go at Jacko, be Daniel Tosh and not Michael Richards.

    Goofus comes onto a site dedicated to an opposing team, after his favorite team has been eliminated from relevance, and cranks the doucheometer up to 11 when the opposing team loses a game while already up 2 games to none. Gallant comes onto a site dedicated to an opposing team after the same game, and makes a reasonably intelligent baseball-related post and seems genuinely interested in the excitement of the baseball game rather than who won or lost, and manages not to even wiggle the needle on the doucheometer This is how to be a Yankees fan on a Red Sox website ^ Take notes, jacko, even though I assume they'd be in crayon.
