I dont mind, he was good in 04, good at the start of last year, deserves another chance. Make him our 6-7 inning guys.

Seriously though, the picture you posted had Rivera on the ground, why would he be on the ground saying "catch the ball" looking like a ball was just hit right by him.

I thought you were talking about something different. The picture you have is the hit that Roberts scored on. Yes, the Lofton thing was at the Stadium. Sorry that im such a fool because I didnt know that the thing with Lofton was anointed the "Catch The Ball Play"

So then isnt it amazing that considering for much more exerting playing is on A-Rod that he has better numbers that Ortiz? That said, he deserves the MVP. You said it yourself.

Is the amphetamine testing mean that players will not be able to take greenies? Greenies are a big part of the game, without them players would just fall apart. A guy named Dave Matranga (playedin the Angels organization this year) that ive talked to a few times told me that taking greenies is like eating gum, its that common. He also stated that they are relied upon by players just to be able to be active on a daily basis, because without them they would have no energy or anything whatsoever. I wonder if there are specific amphetamines that are being tested or if they suspend you for any. Because if thats the case many players will be suspended. This is all coming from a player, not myself.

I was very happy to see that the Union finally agreed to this after Bud has been proposing it all year. Id rather have it be an MLB issue rather than a Congress Issue.

Its unbelieveably hard, before my knees died on me I used to be a Third Basemen, and it is a lot harder than it looks.

I think it was a very pussy-ish move by Tek to hit A-Rod while still wearing his gear. Not that I expect him to take it all off, but at least take off your mask. Also, who are you kidding, there was no winner to that fight. Keep thinking Tek won if you want, but there was clearly no winner. I still laugh at A-Rod's slap because how funny it is. But I cant get mad about it, he did (or tried to do) what he could to get the job done.

Good Post! _________________________________ Guys all talk about how selfish he is, but he is like 2 Home RUns away from all time HR leader at SS and then he still went and changed positions. Most guys wouldnt have done that. I hope he gets it some time, like if Jeter goes down and they move him over to play SS while Jeter is out or something.

I take it you've never played baseball. It requires a lot more than just standing there and fielding the balls that come to you. there is a lot involved. ------------------------------------------- When A-Rod does interviews and radio shows hes usuallyy laid back and says the right things, but appearantly DirecTV and XM have a deal andn now all the XM channels are on DirecTV, and A-Rod is on the Kevin Kennedy/Rob Dibble showm and boy he is really showing a different side. He is talking about how he is sick and tired of all the people complaining about how he got the MVP and all the people in general who never have anything good to say about him (such as New England). Something else that gave me a laugh is that when Rob DIbble said "before the season, I predicted you would win MVP" and A-REod respneded with "that-A-Boy!" lol I cant get mad though, hes just showing the human element, which is good. I dont think any less of him.

I have to disagree. I could understand you saying they didnt choke away the division this year, thats fair. But we definately choked last year. We were in the 9th inning of Game 4 with Mariano Rivera on the mound about to win our 40th pennant and...............well you know the rest. no reason we should have lost that series, I dont care what is said about better team, we should have won it. That is not to take anything away from boston, because they played spectacular and most other teams would have just given up at that point.

My vote would have gone to Jones, but I have absolutely no problem with Pujols. he should have 2 or 3 by now. The consistancy and production by Pujols over his FIRST FIVE YEARS is UNBELIEVEABLE.

Because what Palmeiro took was leaked and everybody knows what kind of steroid it is. (I dont remember all of the details). Sheffield used a cream! And the trainer didnt write a prescription, he gave him a cream. Ridicule the trainer, not Sheffield.

He got them from a trainer. Do you seriously expect him to question the legality. He didnt even know they were steroids at the time.

No defense for Giambi and no defense for Lawton. But please, there is no way we knew about Lawton, we picked him up in September for christ's sake. OK, so like I said about my eardrops that contain a steroid. Am I a juicer?

A-Rod was yelling at Bronson, he didnt go out to the mound to fight him. And yes, Tek should have at least taken his mask off to fight. What a real man he is.
