  1. yes. I still like PacBell myself, but whatever.
  2. You obviously dont know what you're talking about. Kay actually makes an effort to be neutral. He is definately nto a homer, he takes his job very seriously. He isnt Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo, who pull for the Red Sox in the booth. One time on his radio show, a fan said to Michael "I know you're a Yankee fan.........." and Kay cut him off saying "no i'm not". Trsut me. If you've ever listend to Kay on a regular basis you will know for fact that he is not a homer.
  3. They took the video feed from somewhere else, and they had guys sitting up in Connecticut doing the games for audio. At least for the first game. The second, the Rojas guys were there. But I agree, bad production...but its better than watching YES Network Magazine or Running.
  4. Oh, btw the Dominican team (including the likes of Melky Cabrera, Miguel Tejada, among others) beat the Puerto Rican team (featuring Alex Cora) in game 1.
  5. ok, so the video production is not done by YES. YES took the Latin American based feed (no specific channel) and threw in their own broadcasters. Doing the first game tonight was Jim Leyritz and Billy Sample. Doing the second game is Victor and Cookie Rojas. No idea what Sample and the Rojas boys have to do with YES
  6. SportsNet New York Which is stupid in my opinion. I had really hoped Wilpon would be orginal with this. Instead this is just going to be another branch of the Comcast SportsNet Networks (If you have DirecTV or other access to regional Sports networks you know what i'm talking about). They will even have the SportRISE and SportsNIGHT highlight/news shows like the other Comcast channels. Like I said, this bugs the s*** out of me and I really wish Freddy Wilpon was more original.
  7. You dont have to. I was just stating fact. I will dig up the article from about a week ago where in an interview with a Florida newspaper he admitted that it was the Dodgers. That plus what i've been told im 100% sure it was the Dodgers. And btw buddy, he would have signed with the Dodgers, but there was a lack of communication along the way, the Yankees gave him their "take it or leave it" and he took. So contrary to your thoughts (which I cant blame you, all makes sense and even I was questioning this at first) I speak the full truth here.
  8. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/story/387492p-328829c.html
  9. Trust me...I know what i'm talking about wish I could say more, but I have to stop here regarding the issue.
  10. The Dodgers did. They were the 6 year team.
  11. Damon played for the Red Sox for 4 years. Jeter has played in the Yankees organization for 13 years now, approaching his 14th this coming season. He is the captian of the Yankees, he has won 4 rings here, 6 pennants, World Series MVP, ASG MVP, Rookie of the Year, two gold gloves, should have won a batting title (but that punkass Bill Mueller sat out most of the last game of the season in 2003 protecting his average, while Jeter played), and is the face of our franchise. I will definately take things he says regarding his loyalty to his franchise over things said by someone who has played 4 years in an organization. and if they did we would match, and then increase it.
  12. I know he said all of that and everything, but I definately also recall him saying at the start of last offseason that he wouldnt rule out coming to the Yankees this offseason, if he got no offers elsewhere. Obviously he did get offers and everything, but just thought I would throw that out there.
  13. I know. He was damn good too
  14. lol...all I could ccome up with
  15. Amd evem if Pettitte did leave I wouldnt wish injuries on him and talk negatively...I would be greatful for all he has done and I would be bitching about the Front Office not bringing him back. Andy means too much to this organization to say stuff about him like you guys say about Johnny.
  16. So the fact that he wasnt a great player means he doesnt count?? Hes a better player than you!! And Pettitte wouldnt have left for the SOx, in fact, the Sox offered him more than Houston did but he said somethign along the lines of "I could never do that to the people of New York"
  17. Enrique Wilson, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 is now a Red Sox...and it hurts But um...seriously, you cant say that. I dont know if you recall but you guys do have a guy named David Wells on your team. And if most of you guys were fans back in 2001 (Dont think I can say that for all here) you would remember a guy by the name of David Cone wearing a Red Sox uniform. So dont say we dont know how it feels.
  18. what makes you say that??
  19. No way. I'll take Pettitte in a second. He had a GREAT year last year, he is proven in New York, hes really not that old, and he was a integral part of our 4 championships. I would LOVE for Andy to come home.
  20. ok now, I didnt get too upset over Flaherty going back to Boston...but Enrique!!! This one hurts.
  21. He has no track record but Papelbon does? I will be willing to accept the questioning of Wang, but only if you guys would stop acting as if PApelbon is the second coming.
