I'm younger than the building, maybe that's why I look at it the way I do. I feel the same way about Giant's Stadium. I been there once, but not for a Giants game and fully regret I won't be able to see it again before it's gone. And honestly I don't care if it is only 33 years old, supposedly. A lot has happened there, it's architecture was special. I don't give a s*** really, it is what I grew up seeing, I was used to seeing it, and in my eyes it was special. It might not look exactly the way it looked in the 1920's, but it was basically the same building, it was not completely razed and rebuilt. It might be where the Yankees played, it might have been dirty and rat filled, you might have been able to get your heart carved out of your chest outside of it for your sneakers, but in the end it was Yankee Stadium. A place that saw some great ball players, some great moments, some history. Maybe I look at things too deeply. Maybe it is just a few slabs of concrete. I don't care.
