    tl;dr Probably same thing that has been said a million times. AVG, RBI's etc mean nothing. OBP, OPS, random fielding statistics are all that matters. So sick of hearing about this f***, and how eveyone who criticizes him is some villain.

    good good good. I hope there is more spring training games on TV this year. The time between football and baseball is excruciating, especially cause I can't stand hockey or football. That year of the NHL strike was awesome, there were spring training games like everyday.

    I'm nervous about Lackey too. Every time I've seen him he never really wowed me, except that one game where he nearly no hit the sox. I think it's a nice signing, but I'm not expecting anything great out of the dude, to be honest.

    Japan Vs America is not "global". Just more stupid money making garbage. The WBC is basically the same damn thing anyway, but including every continent instead of one team from north america and one team from asia. It's ******** if this happens

    Anyone trying to participate in the WBC should undergo rigorous physicals full of X-rays and anything possibly to determine they are completely healthy, and anything that looks to be even a bit off should automatically lead to that player not being able to participate.
