Yeah, true. I read a story in ESPN magazine last summer about a guy playing on some small team and he he was hit in the head, sorta like Clement, and he was taken off the mound and died in the hospital and the still let the game go on
I don't even want to know what it is like to get hit with a batted ball. I been hit by a ball my dad threw that hit me in the head and thats like 55 MPH. this must of been 2 times as fast. God i can't comprehend that. I don't want to be the hitter that hits someone either.
Tex, you how it is. It's always like "this guy sucks against the sox, remember last time?" then the game starts, nine innings later the dude has 7 innings, 10K's and 1 hit.
so much for mr dirt dog. damn, he is so overhyped with his fielding. he needs to stop trying to get webgems on every ball hit to him. if he played it off the wall no one would of scored.
Wanting to see the yankees lose more then the red sox win is kinda weird. I used to be like that but it was only a short period of time. its kinda equal to me now.
yeah he has been great as of late. But no one has been consistent all year which annoys me. But i think maybe 2 weeks from now Schilling might return to the rotation. I don't know, i hope he does soon then we would have consistancy. But for right now it is wells
Wait, when someone said Hanley would make Cano look like Jason Giambi, does he mean the 43 HR .330 avg 120rbi Giambi or the .212 12hr 40rbi steriod giambi?
its on the buzz too. Millar and Mueller to Twins, Romero and Mays here, MAys and Bronson to florida and Lowell and Burnett to here. i favor this too, even though Lowell's year is bad i think he just needs a change.
