Who honestly cares about the way a guy wears his hat, or how long his hair is, or how he wears a chain? Christ, some people will look for any reason to complain. I wish they had kept Alvarez and gotten rid of Halama. Alvarez can definatly be better then Halama.

I always thought the red sox should of kept this guy. he was really good. off the bench in 03. He played every position except pitcher and catcher, stole 16 bases, and hit .260 with us. definatly would be worth alot if he was still on this team today. look at his stats: Damian Jackson's stats on ESPN

Yes it is. It's so stupid now, we are turning into the yankees, and not in a good way. Since when did players have opinions on what the team should do? They are payed to play where they are f***ing told, and if i was the manager and i wanted Johnny Damon to play 2nd base, he damn well better. Hell, i'll have Mike Myers play right field if i please. They work for me, not me for them. Millar is an idiot and the only place he knows he'll ever be traded to is KFC for some chasier. maybe the cashier can hit better. -

a few reasons. Payton got nasty in the clubhouse and got in a shouting match with the coaches, and also it gives them time to look for the right trade and not have him just sitting around, and they want to trade for chad bradford, and he is on the DL so it gives us 10 days to wait for him to come off.

yay this team is going right to hell. Millar is gonna be gone, Schilling is a f***ing releiver, Bellhorn sucks, mantei is gone for the season, foulke for the next month. yay. Maybe Roberto Petagine would get called up? that would be awesome.

um, i dunno if you guys noticed, but foulkes mechanics have been way out of the usual. when he threw his hand used to be close to his shoulder and his back knee bent. but this year his hand is back and he leans backward without the knee bending. I think it is because he was used so much in the postseason that it screwed with his mechanics.

Tek4pres, very good post. I want to think of it in a Cabrera type of way. Nomar was doing alright, then we went and got Cabrera who everyone thought was an under performing crappy player then looked what he went on to do. He became a fan favorite. I think boone could be the same way. Put him on our team, a team that is competing and has a large fanbase and sells out every game, and he could perform great. Just look, he was awesome in 03 when the mariners were good, then 04 the mariners sucked, he went down, this year they suck more and he was down again.

yeah, but it was Aaron... not Bret. They seem like 2 different guys, dont even look alike and thanks to aaron we got to have the biggest comeback in history and humiliate the yankees and sweep the best team in baseball. who knows, thigns could of been way different. Aaron maybe did us a favor instead of us going against the marlins, likely losing, our team ebing way different and actually getting arod, and us going nowhere last year.
