    Noooooo! Honestly, he is nowhere near what Nomar was like. Nomar was injured and malcontent and going to be a free agent. Manny is still producing and seems to be having alot of fun with the players and fans during games. All he wants i guess is to play in a place where the focus on him would be smaller. What i really think it is is the boston media. Boston's media is the worst in the country, maybe tied with NYC(Yankee press). Boston's press seems to love ripping there players apart, even if they do well.

    I still think they will. Just look at them now, they might have all the money, but look what they are spending it on. Carl Pavano turned out to be nothing so far, Wright is probably gone all season, and Brown should just retire. Brown makes 15 million a year and he hasn't done s***. They have nothing in CF. There system of crap. No one wants to trade with them. Free agent pickups cost them high draft picks. They're screwed.

    I think that was 2002. I watched all the games in 2003 and last year, and don't rmemeber any 18 inning games. Wasn't the first one of 2003 16 innings and Millar won it in TB? I do remember hearing of a Hillenbrand walk off a few years ago at fenway against the blue jays i think

    Pretty good for us. Good thing is we are pretty much set for the next few years. Sucks for the Yankees though, They got only 2 people woth mentioning. And it's gonna get worse for them as they keep signing big name players like they have been, which makes them lose draft pics. They are gonna be like the devil rays are now in 5 years, just without the farm system.

    I want to see a red sox game go that long, but i doubt they could pull that off cause the bullpen would give it up around the 11th. It seemed like last year the red sox had an extra inning game every week or something.

    I like how the yankees are pitching up these high ERA throw aways. Leiter, Nomo, Chacon, who's next? Ponson? Muahahaaaa. Unlike most pickups, which are low risk high reward the yankes seem to like high risk low reward

    I agree. I love him, but sometimes his attitude is stupid. I just think he gets like this at some point in every season. He doesn't really know what he is ever doing, he just drifts along and hits everything. He's a cool guy but a little self cenetred at times. What he did yesterday is inexcusable though.

    He's had a leg injury. I think he injured a muscle, but it's back to normal now so he might pic it up a bit

    Sure i wouldn't mind trading manny to the mets, but manny is my favorite play and i like the mets so i'd be cool with it. But hell if we get Beltran and Wright that would be good.
