  1. Try to assist me with how Ian Kennedy hasn't been given a fair shot?
  2. Sounds like Brian Cashman and Hal Steinbrenner.
  3. Red Sox fan site. I'll bait you like you were a freakin sunny fish kiddo.
  4. Oh yea and Zenny was in the marines, I'd assume the career has consumed him mentally and timewise, I'd hate to think otherwise.
  5. PS Joba is crap as a SP...
  6. 8.17 ERA 1.91 WHIP...39.2 IP, 23 year old season for Ian Kennedy 4.76 ERA 1.64 WHIP...81.1 IP, 24 year old season for Jon Lester That was both player's extended first stay at the MLB level. To say that "OMG LESTER GOT ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD TO WORK THINGS OUT" after that is folly, the MAN HAD CANCER AFTER THAT. Stop making excuses for overhyped Yankee prospects..Dionner Navarro and Kevin Mass say hello.

  8. Glad Theo makes up the line ups.. Let's see what VMart does with a better line up and a more hitter's park around him... Agreed, but I want to see you play baseball with a ruptured testicle and produce. J.D. Drew was one of the best outfielders in baseball last year and he's still hitting seventh. I love that. 20+~ Homeruns out of our #8 slot. And Scutaro could be the best #9 hitter in baseball. If you want to talk about middle of the line up question marks, how about the 38 year old catcher who has missed significant time over the past few years. A second baseman who is streakier than any other hitter in baseball in terms of from year to year...and a DH who has more time on the DL than almost any other player. You replaced Damon with Randy Winn, who had the lowest OPS out of any regular OFer last year... Yea...You got a great 1-4, I'm not personally sold on the rest of the line up...
  9. jacksonianmarch, you're the biggest simpleton I've ever seen on these forums. You're always calling out others for trolling you or name calling..however you're a MFY fan on a Red Sox Website, that's been spouting off for years. I'm pretty much sick of your s***, and your constant flaming and all that other crap. You sir a complete and total tool and I hope you do get banned from here some day. It's such a rare occurance that you contribute anything worthwhile to this website it's maddening. You're logic is seen through pinstripe sunglasses that only allows you a navy blue view of the world. I hope ARod gets hit by a comet, Derek Jeter comes down with AIDS, Jorge Pooooosada is found out to not only pee on his own hands but eat his own s*** and that Mariano Rivera breaks his arm in mid pitch. Die in a fire you flaming *******.
  10. Bynum is a defensive strength, and I can easily see blocking 3 shots per game, he's steadily improving much like Perkins did. Remember Perkins didn't get good until Garnett came. And moreso I was comparing the offensive stand offs with Perkins/Garnett and Bynum/Bargnani. Bynum and Perkins work exclusively around the basket. Bargnani and Garnett love the mid range game and don't usually use any sort of low post offense.
  11. They do, if they are moreso on the offensive end, which his aren't. He's a DEF Reb pro. Three years ago, I'd agree with vastly superior, today, not so much.
  12. Jon Heyman of SI.com reports that the Angels will eat $21.5 million of the $23.5 million remaining on Gary Matthews Jr.'s contract. The Angels agreed to ship Matthews to the Mets on Friday morning in exchange for reliever Brian Stokes. As long as the Mets don't let their new outfielder cut in on Angel Pagan's playing time, it seems like a fine transaction. Matthews, 35, hit .250/.336/.361 last season while Stokes, 30, posted a 1.56 WHIP and a 45/38 K/BB ratio over 70 1/3 innings.
  13. Belicheck should listen to Manuel Ramirez about some defensive changes!
  14. Chris Bosh is far from a superstar IMHO. A big man who can't shoot past 15 feet consistently and has a bad post up game. From my previous post, I'd like to state that Rondo is a much better fit for the Celtics than if Chris Paul was here. Ideally the Raptors would love trade Bosh now since they have no shot at resigning him and getting Bynum to play with Bargnani would be exactly like a poor man's Perkins and Garnett. The Celtics have played like old men and have had many injuries.
  15. Who knows maybe Bay could have been his relay man XD.
  16. Not only does Bosh not play any defense whatsoever, he has minimal range on offense. I'd take Bynum (if injury bug is gone) over Bosh for my 5 slot. PS I'd also take Rondo over Paul at this point.
  17. You guys are all arguing over a moot point, the point is VAZQUEZ SUCKS IN THE AL.
  18. Or it was an honest discussion as they had about Smoltz after he left town doing the same thing: tipping pitches. He fixed that in St. Louis and became more effective. Who cares anyways, he probably won't hear about any of this until Spring Training anyways, the flake.
  19. Pinpoint precision, with the amount of BB he gave up last year, I'd say he's losing it...
