  1. I'm not as worried, the thing with him is that he is so un-orthodox that his mechanics can not be fixed by anyone else. All he needs to do is tinker with it and he'll be bac to his old self. if your trying not to tur on him, remember the moment where he filps the ball to Minkiewitcz and pumps his fist, i find it always
  2. I don't think Steinbrener and Cashman get it yet that chemistry is importatnt, they experienced it firsthand when they won those WS rings. Now all they do is load up with old superstars and trade away their farm system. Back in the day their whole team were players that came up through their system. Even though our team isn't neccesarly that way, we haven't changed too much at all, keeping virtually the same team for 3 years now.
  3. He's not terrible at defense, he's at least better then average, stll i'd only give im a 7.5
  4. Give Foulke time, he'll get back to last years form, but I do agree Embree sucks. Theo seems to love these low rsik/high reward deals, he did it with Mueller, Miller, Millar, and Ortiz basiclly and so far they've all made big impacts. I love Olerud, I'll love him even more if he hits like he did in 2002.
  5. The thing is that even if we aren't "firing" on all cylinders that either our pitching picks the hitting up (like last night) or the hitting picks up the pitching, but mostly its been the pitching that does the dirtywork. Hopefully ERent gets out of his slump.
  6. They had to re-make the ending so they asked the prodicers for money to make that ending. Guess they didnt get that much money. However, if the Sox lost game 4 in STL, they wouldn't have re-made the ending and it wouldv'e stayed with the other one.
  7. I dont' think that people quit because they lost interest, I think they quit because new sim leagues were created. In that week or so when this league didn't sim people got tired of waiting and created new sim leagues expatiating that the sim schedule would be kept, etc. Then the GMs who joined got so caught up in these sim leagues so they quit this one.
  8. I heard we were gonna let him go because he's gonna want like 10 million bucks. We would replace him with Hanley Ramirez and then Damon might go play for the Yanks.
  9. That would solve all our problems, then minky would be forced to court (unless he doesnt want the ball anymore) and we'd probably get the ball back
  10. I think he means from the FAR east coast
  11. definately, the red really helped the jerseys
  12. What the hell are they going to use now for the color? blue?
  13. TheHammerOfGod are u a yankee or red sox fan?
  14. Here's the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1972865 This article really explains why he should give it back. Thank God that sneaky son of a be-otch wont keep it or get any money for it. It belongs in Fenway or Cooperstown.
  15. I wouldnt do this trade. I'm not really "fond" of Javy as some might say. That may be because I only saw him as a Yankee, plus I wouldnt want to trade our best bench player and all our good spects for HIM (and the $10 mill salary) when we could use our spects on Sheets or someone.
  16. who would sign him then?
  17. 5{\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0r]Now that I think about it, this is too true. It seems like as the yankees payroll increases, so does their failure. It's just annoying to see all good players landing in New York, but I guess if it doesnt lead to winning, who cares? So true
  18. thanks elsrbueno, back at ya
  19. Thanks, but now what do I do? Where is my roster? etc.
  20. well for future reference how do I?
  21. How can I join?
  22. As the sox proved last season defense wins championships
  23. because the media hates him
  24. I'd rather have Minky than Millar, Minky might not be as bad as he was last season, he has had a few .300 seasons
