  1. Can Papelbon go two innings today?
  2. Francona should have a nice long talk with the team after this rediculous game
  3. Once again I say....Manny Ramirez can be such an ass hole....instead of playing the damn ball he has it hit off his hand while he points at.....NOTHING....PLAY THE DAMN GAME
  4. Manny can be such an ass hole sometimes
  5. it seems like that happens a lot to the Red Sox....a ball falling into no-mans land
  6. Since so many people (including me) really enjoyed having Bill Mueller on the Red Sox and wished him the best when he moved on, I thought everyone would want to hear the tough news. Doctors have reportedly eliminated all procedures for fixing the deterioration in Bill Mueller's knee. This is tough news for Mueller who hoped to return for the 2007 season. It appears unless his knee suddenly regenerates muscle his career may be finished.
  7. He's right about one thing. Jonathan Papelbon is a power pitcher without an offspeed pitch. It would be amazing if he could develop a changeup. Thats the nice thing about being 25 years old.
  8. You mentioned to me before that this kid is becoming untouchable.....I'm really starting to agree with you
  9. Vernon Wells OWNS!!!!
  10. looks like I'm gonna bite my tongue today about Loretta haha
  11. Yeah thats great.....doesn't answer the question....why would anyone give the green light to someone batting below .250 to swing at a 3-0 count. Not playing the odds too well on that one.
  12. 3-0 count to Varitek who is batting below .250 and he swings......what is going on today?
  13. Mark Loretta looks like crap today....slow in the field and a poor play at home
  14. It was a joke
  15. I agree about Meche. I'm not sure whats going on with him this year but he's figured something out because he's posted very good numbers. I haven't had a chance to watch him yet but clearly something is going right.
  16. Why would we bring up Gabbard when we could bring up Alvarez....uuhhrr.....yay Kason!!
  17. Nope...trade Tavarez for King....the Red Sox would have more use for King. Another player the Red Sox should look at is Mike MacDougal who I believe is going to be available from Kansas City. Perhaps we could get Redman and MacDougal for a Dunkin Donuts coffee.
  18. I think Francona should mix up the batting lineup
  19. This Papelbon guy is pretty good
  20. Is Mark Redman that good?? Or did we forget how to hit??
  21. Nothing like holding Seattles offense in check. I still can't get over that call in the 9th...Yanks should be 1+1/2 games back.
  22. This doesn't sound right. I don't see the Yankees making that big of a miscalculation. Its mostly Wang that confuses me. I could see the other guys but the Yanks are already short on pitching like us....Could Carlos Lee possibly be responsible for more wins than Wang??....no way
  23. *barf* ...might as well continue to pick up random starters to fill in
  24. What kind of talent would we be talking about?? Would you be willing to move a Michael Bowden or Clay Buchholz for him? I would and I think both Bowden and Buchholz will be good pitchers in the end....but they will be good later just like the Cleveland Guardians. That team is not ready to win with that pitching staff. I know they have two young guys (Sowers, Miller) plus they still have Sabathia. Perhaps they would like to fill out the rotation with another solid young arm who can contribute for them before they contribute for us. He didn't exactly suck a lot of talent from us to get 26 year old Coco Crisp. Andy Marte is good but certainly a player the Red Sox could afford to move.
