Not going off number or stats but I'm pretty positive he is a fastball hitter. Not to say he can't hit a curve (he is in the majors) so maybe bad choice of words on my part... that said...frozen on a curve haha

Phil Hughes should be in the minors working on a changeup. He doesn't have enough velocity or movement on the fastball to be like Josh Beckett.

Varitek can't walk and won't be able to hit the curve so lets hope Hughes makes a mistake.

So its official....Sean Casey will not hit a HR in Fenway this season.....I think that was the farthest he can hit a ball.

Manny really is incredible.....all fastballs in that at-bat...then smacks a curve (that was going to be a strike) for a base hit...awesome
