  1. Much, in my opinion.
  2. The strike zones for Pettitte and Pavano have been completely different.
  3. That has been their issue the entire season.
  4. With the way both pitchers have thrown the ball, the Twins are lucky the score isn't 6-1.
  5. Swisher is such an awful situational hitter. Pavano has nothing. Huge waste.
  6. I don't think it was scorched, although I agree, it wasn't softly hit. But it's still just a ground ball, and, more importantly, it was on a pitch where Pettitte hit his spot.
  7. Both of the hits were soft, and the walk was probably a pitch around to set up the DP. He got lucky with the line out, but Hardy should have been struck out on the 0-2 pitch.
  8. Despite the soft run, Pettitte has looked sharp.
  9. He has actually been swinging the bat much better lately. I don't have an issue with it.
  10. My point is that Gardenhire was going to have him face the bottom five in the order no matter what, and that was the right move. If he had brought him in when you wanted him to, he would have to face nine batters.
  11. Sorry about the delay guys. Jason Brown, C
  12. Best part about this: Revis didn't play in the second half.
  13. 2003 ALCS Game 7 and 1999 World Series Game 4.
  14. I thought Robbie had a play there at second, and he typically takes those chances. Surprising.
  15. A couple bad games can't have that huge of an affect on their thinking going forward. He's their best. Got to trust your best.
  16. This is the issue with the Yankees' pen. Walks.
  17. I'd really prefer Wood here. Huge AB, because if he doesn't get him, Thome gets to face a RHP with the game on the line.
  18. The best possible matchup for the Yankees is Kubel against a lefty. And if that's the way CC is going to approach him, you know he doesn't have much.
  19. He's afraid to throw his FB.
  20. Thames had his pitch to hit on 0-1 and missed it.
  21. Haha, thanks ital.
