  1. Really don't like Joe leaving Andy in.
  2. The greatness of Lee.
  3. Pettitte got very lucky in that inning, but that was an excellent pitch to finish off Vlad.
  4. This is like Utley in the World Series. It's telling how easily Mariano handled him in Game 1. He likes to dive out over the plate, and he's eating the entire inner third.
  5. Inside FB would be the right call here.
  6. Just barely got in on him.
  7. Pettitte looks sharp. At the very least he's giving the offense a chance to comeback. Another couple runs and it would likely be over.
  8. It'll probably be between the Yankees and the Rangers.
  9. I like Cliff Lee as much as anyone, but what a stupid comment by Ron Darling. The 1-2 pitch to Thames was not the first time he missed his spot tonight.
  10. Yes, I'm certain he will.
  11. I know this was said before the start of the game, but this is just really biased. I might eat my words, and I hope I do, but no way is it 50/50 when they're facing Lee.
  12. This reminds me of an old Sandy Koufax story. When the Dodgers took a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning of Game 7 of the 1965 World Series, all the reporters put their typewriters away. No chance Sandy was going to blow a two run lead in a deciding World Series game.
  13. Cliff Lee...ugh.
  14. Bradie James, ILB
  15. Just going to need a few minutes to go over my next selection.
  16. I had thought about Woody as well, but I'm just not confident he's still going to be a top performer in a few years.
  17. Ahmad Bradshaw, RB
  18. Not going to score double digit runs in the series? Wow, this guy's an idiot.
  19. I think he was decent. Considering how well he was throwing the ball, I think he got the best possible result. But I also haven't seen enough of Colby Lewis to know what his best stuff is.
  20. This is true. Texas dominated most of the first two games, so the Yankees are fortunate to come out with a split. Normally, as the road team, you'd be happy to split the first two games, but this situation is a bit different with Cliff Lee starting neither of the first two games.
