  1. It's highly unlikely that one bad game and one decent game will have any impact on his next contract. The bidding starts at 6/120, and will go up from there, with the Yankees undoubtedly offering the most money, and Texas coming in at a close second.
  2. Great recovery by Lincecum to strike out the final two hitters of the inning. At this point, I don't think Bochy should put anyone else out there besides Lincecum and Wilson (unless of course TEX ties or takes the lead).
  3. Edgar Renteria already has a hit to win a World Series, and he has made the last out in a World Series. He might have just hit the HR that wins this one as well.
  4. I doubt he falls all the way down to them, but I'd take a chance on him if I were the Giants. They haven't had the one receiver which teams roll coverages over to since Plaxico, and Randy would represent their first true deep threat since Plax as well. He would also open up the middle of the field for Nicks, Smith, and Boss. There's all the possibility that a chance to play for a title would re-energize Moss. Even if he does fall all the way to the Giants, I doubt Jerry Reese and co. would pull the trigger, but it's an intriguing thought.
  5. This is reasonable, and the stance I also take in the matter.
  6. If this series goes seven games, I have to believe Madison Bumgarner would get the ball on short rest.
  7. I don't remember everything ORS has said, but it seems from his last post like he is trying to say there may be a few different reasons for why Brady has played worse in his last three games than in his previous four. But I'm not going to defend his position, or accidentally put words in his mouth. I'm curious as to how he responds.
  8. Madison Bumgarner...wow...
  9. Selected a few picks ago.
  10. Chris Cooley, TE
  11. Yeah, I'd tend to agree. I think it's the same teams that were ahead of the pack after the first ten rounds or so.
  12. Nice selection jaybay. I was considering him for my most recent pick, or my next pick.
  13. With the draft nearing it's conclusion, and these picks not having as much importance as earlier picks, I think it was the right decision. I also don't think WB will mind at all.
  14. I really wanted Mathias Kiwanuka with this pick, but he was just placed on IR, and his future is really up in the air. Instead I'll go with a very high upside pick, a ball-hawking safety with superstar potential that could start for me and also help in my nickel package. He's completely recovered from a knee injury he suffered last year, so I feel comfortable with this selection (especially considering he's going to be drafted as a bench player). Kenny Phillips, SS, Bench
  15. Well you can take two of those with your bench spots. Other than that, I think we have to wait and see what TK says on the matter.
  16. Oh man, I used to get so pumped when Bama used him in the goal-line packages.
  17. Hmm, I guess the other position would have to be a FB or a nickel-back. I thought you guys were against the idea of adding another position though?
