    Yup. And they faced him the second game back after the all-star break. That's what I remember off the top of my head. EDIT: And that was at least the third time they've faced Halladay this year. EDIT 2: It's a weird concept, but teams don't bend over backwards for the Yanks or intentionally align their rotations so the Yankees face the back end.

    Yeah, from a Yankee fans' perspective it's unfortunate, but he was taking the outs when he could get them with Joba. I can't complain. He limited Mo and Vizcaino to one inning each so they should be in good shape for tomorrow.

    He strained a muscle in his lower back. I don't know if he's going to pitch again. Also, it's not unreasonable to think that Clemens will put together a good start. He's on an extra day of rest, and the Blue Jays aren't exactly a great hitting team.

    This is really on the organization. Bruney shouldn't be on the roster so Torre isn't even tempted to use him. You honestly could not find a guy that I wouldn't rather have out there then Brian Bruney.

    Pretty good sequence there to Molina. The Yankees' offense is really sleepwalking through these last two games, but with the way they've played lately I have no right to complain.

    I wonder if they bring in Vizcaino or Farnsworth. It's Johnson, Overbay, and Rios. I don't like the odds of this game still being tied when the bottom of the 13th starts.

    They also gave one to the Tigers a couple of weeks ago. This one is not over, but it's a weird trend for them.

    Huge break for the Yankees there as Overbay couldn't handle a low throw from Hill. Now they have a chance as Cano represents the winning run, but Downs is coming in.
