  1. Probably with Gaudin coming in.
  2. Maybe it's his injury, but Teixeira flat out sucks right now. The Rays haven't hit a single ball hard this entire inning, yet they've scored three, and have a big chance for more. And now Joe is showing that he doesn't care at all about winning these games. Wonderful.
  3. Back to back bad calls.
  4. Those always fall in with Curtis in center.
  5. Well, that's Granderson's huge weakness. He is horrendous at coming in on the ball.
  6. Wow, stunned by this. Not Maddon's style at all.
  7. Wouldn't have been Wood, because Joe named him the 8th inning guy. But I get your point, and either Robertson or Joba would have been better.
  8. I really hope Joe doesn't come back. He is so dumb. Logan can't get righties out, and everyone knows Maddon won't let him face the lefty.
  9. Good call. Very unlucky. With that being said, he was behind 2-0, and he never should have faced Crawford. Now it unravels...
  10. But not surprising. Can't believe they're allowing him to face Crawford. What has Joe seen that would lead him to believe Nova can get out of this?
  11. Actually it has been the fifth more often than the sixth.
  12. Looking at his starts so far, I'd be surprised if Nova gave the Yankees a shut down inning here. EDIT: Yup, here we go. I shouldn't be able to predict this stuff, but this isn't surprising at all.
  13. I'll take the two runs that Garza basically gave the Yankees, but it could have been more. Berkman might have even swung at ball four there.
  14. No runs here would be classic Yankees.
  15. I don't think it's realistic to expect him to return to his 2007 form, but he's had a solid year, and I think he can certainly improve. I like the move now, and in the long run.
  16. Not just that, apparently the wind knocked all three down (according to the NESN announcers), especially the ones hit by Wigginton and Wieters.
  17. Wow, thought that ball was hit much better than that. EDIT: Not sure Dice-K could have gotten any luckier that inning.
  18. Probably a good idea. A Yankees' sweep obviously isn't as good for the Red Sox as a Rays' sweep would be, but, if the Sox sweep, they would be only three games out with ten to play. It would give them a fighting chance.
  19. Thanks WB. I didn't mention that, but Harrison's 2009 season might have even been more impressive than his 2008 season. He only got 10 sacks (compared to 16 the previous year), but he became a better all-around player, making a big impact against the run and in pass coverage.
  20. Sorry about the wait guys. I want Ngata (nice pick TK) to be the NT in my 3-4, but with him gone I'll focus on my pass rush. The NFL is a passing league, and the best way to combat a good passing game is with a good pass rush. My pick is a bit on the old side, but he's at the peak of his production, and I'm confident he can sustain this level of success for three years. Additionally, I view him as the perfect compliment to Ware. James Harrison, OLB
