  1. Please take him out.
  2. Last thing Hughes needs right now is his defense to let him down. Hope that play at second doesn't cost him.
  3. Get someone up Joe. This is looking like a typical Hughes' outing.
  4. He just threw a 3-2 change to Joyce. Just terrible. Time to get Vazquez lose.
  5. Posada pretended to get hit in the foot. He wasn't as exaggerated as Jeter, but it worked all the same.
  6. The Yankee School of Acting lol.
  7. Welcome to the last two-thirds of the season lol.
  8. Classic Hughes.
  9. They didn't do anything, but they looked good against Shields in the second inning, which gives me hope that their one big inning won't be all for the night.
  10. For the first time in what seems forever, the Yankees have their full lineup tonight. Nice to see.
  11. The Rays never quit.
  12. Eh, first pitch to Joyce was probably a bit high. I do think the 3-2 slider to Johnson was a strike though.
  13. Probably not gonna get him out if you keep going away.
  14. As of late, Robertson has pitched more recently than either Joba or Wood, yet Joe goes to him against the top of the order. The Rays are unbelievable, they just keep coming.
  15. Really hope Gaudin still isn't going to be left in.
  16. Maddon >>>>>>> Girardi, but we already knew that. And wow, two really long home runs from Granderson.
  17. Joba isn't his eighth inning guy, Wood is. He's the third or fourth reliever in the bullpen. It's completely common to see a pitcher like that enter the game in that kind of situation.
  18. Love the risk from Cervelli. Put some pressure on the defense.
  19. Great call there by Joe. I'd much rather him take a chance with the hit and run than sacrifice the runner over, which has rarely resulted in runs for this team.
