  1. I love Bonds and McGwire.
  2. You're like I'm not a super mod
  3. Someone actually lets him use a computer....I'm in shock...
  4. Coincidentally, Hanley is the only great one.
  5. Nomar was never really THE star of the team. 1997- Vaughn 1998- Pedro & Nomar 1999- Pedro & Nomar 2000- Pedro & Nomar 2001- Manny 2002- Manny, Pedro, and Nomar 2003- Pedro, Manny, Ortiz. & Nomar 2004- Manny, Pedro, Ortiz & Schilling
  6. I give Renteria a hard time. I'll like him, don't get me wrong, but he didn't have a $40 million year last year. Hopefully Bill James and Theo know something I don't.
  7. I know you didn't just judge a prospect panning out on the account of a team goal. Maybe I misunderstood.
  8. I'd rather have Hanley over Renteria, but I'd do anything to get Nomar after this year
  9. Ben Sheets isn't going anywhere, and even if he does the Brewers have much better options.
  10. Still my favorite player in baseball.
  11. sarasoxfan, tell me what Nomar was doing when he was Hanley's age. Hanley Ramirez has followed Miguel Tejada's career path to-a-T so far.
  12. If I remember correctly, Hanley was injured when he played in A Ball this year, hitting 1 HR and slugging .389. However, he still hit .310 with a .364 OBP. I don't know how that is relevant because he went to AA and went .310/.360/.512/.872 with 5 HR (25 per 162) with 10 walks to 26 strikeouts. He also went 25/35 in stolen bases this year. Now that he is healthy, I would'nt be surprised to see his first .900 OPS season since his 2002 season (not including 6 games this year in the GCL)
  13. Here are all the compensation picks. First Round 17. Yankees (from Phillies for Type B Jon Lieber) 22. Marlins (from Giants for Type A Armando Benitez) 23. 14. I like Hanley's athleticism/range to think of him at thirdbase.
  15. Hanley's too big to move to 2B.
  16. HAHAHAHAAHAHA. You're such a clown. He didn't admit s***. We never wouldn't know this if he wasn't under oath and it wasn't leaked.
  17. I love Papelbon....in a non-gay way.
  18. Why is this the first time I've heard Schilling's name in this, as well as Thomas'?
  19. Please. I am not a fan of the Renteria signing at all. Him and his .728 OPS :thumbdown
  20. Wins? I'll take those numbers I already showed. It's not contest. Arroyo is much better, Wakfield is a washed-up starter at this point.
  21. Way to go. Let's leave these numbers out of our rotation 121 ERA+ for the season - 9th in the AL 7-2 3.97 ERA after the break 2.37 BB/9 - 10th in the AL 10.98 BR/9 and a 1.22 WHIP - 6th in the AL 8.61 H/9 - 10th in the AL
  22. Nothing to get over
  23. Anybody who says Wakefield is wrong.
  24. I stopped reading when I got to " Anyway, in typical Martinez fashion, he had a high pitch count over three innings and was in trouble most of the time."
  25. If I'm a scorekeeper I am making that motherf***er walk somebody.
