    He's overrated defensively, too. Edgar Renteria was always overrated, other than in 2003, a clear outlier in his career. He's been a below average hitter and fielder his entire career.

    Duncan did play in a pitcher's league, and a pitcher's park, though.

    Duncan has good isolated stats, and that's pretty much it. Who knows if his contact will ever come. Because, like Zenny said, his pitch recognition is not there.

    I like it alot. Neal had a 1.86 ERA in the PCL this year. He's big, throws hard. He's only 26, and had a career 2.61 ERA in the minors.

    Edgar isn't that good. We shouldn't consider ourselves lucky to have a $40 million dollar SS, who had a .728 OPS last year, can't hit right handed pitching, and is blocking the 10th best prospect in the majors.
