Another good relief prospect. 2IP, 0H, 0ER, 1BB, 4K throwing 96 MPH Dinardo pitched 6 innings 3 hits 1 er. Buchholz (a top draft pick) 3 IP, 1 H, 0ER, 0 BB, 3 K, 2.90ERA Lowrie (another top pick) HR, Soto HR. Theo was at the Portland game. Saw Lester-Martinez-Hansen pitching. That's all. Talk about heat. Delcarmen in BOS throwing 97. Papelbon in PAW throwing 95. Hansen in POR throwing 96. Martinez in POR throwing 96. Lester in POR throwing 93.

    I remember reading an article about him a few years ago, I believe in SI, and being struck by this man's life - he was a remarkable person, and baseball is less for his loss. RIP Mr. Radcliffe

    I can easily see Fox pulling strings to make sure that No yankee/sox weekend games doesn't stay that way.

    Attendence really isn't an issue for either team but you would think that both the sox and the yankees would prefer to schedule the D'Rays and the Royals for weekend games in the summer to maximize attendence. Then again, the July weekend Yankee series at Fenway is usually one of the best series of the season.
