  7. Game Info Date: Friday, August 12th, 2005 First Pitch: 7:05pm TV: WSBK Starting Pitchers: http://espn.go.com/i/mlb/profiles/players/6525.jpghttp://bellsouthpwp.net/c/h/chinigor/TALKSOX/VS.GIFhttp://espn.go.com/i/mlb/profiles/players/4057.jpg http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/cws.gifMark Buehrle (13-4, 2.79)http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/bos.gifDavid Wells (9-5, 4.45) Scouting Report: The thing that White Sox fans can always count on is that even when Buehrle doesn't have his best stuff, he will still find some way to keep his team in the game. That was the case in Buehrles' last start as it was his defense that shined even more than his pitching. Buehrle allowed only one earned run over seven innings and sparkled with plays that made a case for a Gold Glove. Another strong outing could be in the cards with Fenway Park being like a second home to Buehrle. The southpaw is 3-0 with a 2.11 at the famed ballpark. The left-hander was brilliant over the first five innings of his last start, giving up just one hit. But he gave up three runs in his final inning, the sixth, and took a no decision against the Twins. Wells has been a rock for the Sox of late, surrendering three earned runs or less in his last six starts. This is his first start of the season against the White Sox.
  8. why would you wanna drive all the way up there to see the yankees get there ass kicked.....again. hahahaha....just kidding

  11. so in those 4 series that riverside mentioned you guys are a combined 9-15, yeah looks good for you.....and the small unit's back is out AGAIN.
  12. ' yeah and you guys didn't even play there best starters, we faced buehrle, garland, el duque, and contreras....and that was at chicago, we are at fenway now, series win. how many in a row have we won at fenway- like 11?
  13. your next series is tampa bay! they give you guys fits...and you have Wright going.....hahahahahahaha, SWEEP! we have most of our games at fenway, the yankmees were lucky to win that game last night, as i would say they pulled it out of their ass, your rotation is inconsistent, SMALL is your ACE....'nuff said
  14. he may not start tuesday vs the D-Rays
  15. http://www.courant.com/hc-price-arrested,0,1754279.story?coll=hc-big-headlines-breaking His partner in crime, Marcus Williams, is in Argentina with the Under 21 team, or else his name would be on the police blotter today, too. UConn just went from preseason Top 5 to unranked. the phrase "uconnvict" is becoming less and less of a joke and more a reflection of reality AJ Price got a 2nd chance at life, nearly dying last season. Marcus Williams was projected to be a lottery pick in next year's NBA draft. Which one threw the most away
  16. so then that plan wouldn't work
  17. welcome mi casa es su casa
  18. only problem is i dont think he'll clear waivers Minnesota is still looking for offense and he may strike out a lot but they make want to try him.
  19. yep, would rather grab burnett
  20. no but you never know what could happen
  21. He signed there. He knew how bad NY can be. I appreciate what he did for us, but onw that he's gone, he's gone. Now that he's a Yankee, I wish him tons of failure this season. Not because i'm bitter, i'm not. Just because his failure now helps the Sox. Nothing personal
  22. I get to watch most of the Yankees games, and it seems to me that EVERY time he leaves the mound, the Yankees fans boo him. Now, I know he asked for this, you make a deal with the devil and you have to live with the consequences. It must make for a miserable trip to the ballpark every night, knowing that will be the ovation you get. On the other hand, I'm pleased that he isn't coming back to bite the Sox.
  23. i tried to get a new one, but it was too big, if anyone could make it smaller I'll change it
  24. you go to any uconn bball games, we have season tix to syracuse. went to the uconn/'cuse game in the garden last year, great game. then i stayed to watch us win the big east championship.
  25. are you serious, head injuries take millions of lives every year, not to mention every day.
