    Actually, I'd like to see Paps start taking a regular turn in the rotation this year. With Schill probably not getting back to full strength this year and really having no other #1 starter, our prospects for this year aren't the best anyway. So why keep pushing Miller to the max or overextending Schill? Right now is as good a time as any to start getting Paps ready for next years role as the #5 starter.

    im confident foulke will be back to the foulke of 2004, before all of his knee problems occured. and schill is really only having problems on his splitter and it usually takes him a couple innings to get it working even when he is healthy. he is better as a starter than a closer (obv.) and thats where he should be, i dont care if foulke isnt back yet, put him at the top of that rotation today! i kno the yankees will be making a big push, but im not feeling the need to commit suicide like some other people.

    michael kay during the yankees game a couple nights ago said he heard a steroid accusation and said one of them will "break your heart"

    a couple days you were so confident and now look, one loss and you think our season is in shambles. we will be jsut fine, foulke will be back soon enough

    mussina has been inconsistent that year and so has johnson who has a 10.something ERA vs TAMPA BAY! I question how diehard some people on this board are, way to much pessimistic attitude going on around here.

    heard about 1 or 2 weeks until he returns. he threw 40 pitches yesterday and will throw a simulated game later this week.

    I seriously think his problems were a direct result of the knee and he will be a very good closer when he gets back.

    spot-starter is my guess, will help in the pen later in the year when curt or miller get back in the rotation.

    yes the only people who are saying giambi isnt using steroids, are yankee fans, ONLY ONES! you dont have that drastic a change without some help.

    on cold pizza they just did a "should curt start" segment, and skip bayless still thinks he should close and admires him for his guts. woody paige said he should start. Closers should not get decisions, he is 3-3. And has a 18.50 ERA in his last 3 games. He also said timlin should close.

    as I've been saying elsrbueno is an undercover yankee fan. I only see him come on after we lose a game.
