  1. take this with a grain of salt but some guy on the espn message boards said looper is headed here and he called the tek signing and miller signing like a day or 2 before they actually happened. i for one will not beleive it til I see it.
  2. EMBREE coming in to face travis lee with a man on 3rd and 1 out
  3. s*** crawford is sooo fast. rbi triple...5-5...1 out
  4. I think if he shows he can throw day after day and be strong both days then we should give him a shot. He honestly cannot be any worse than some of the guys we have out there now. Plus, a 95 MPH tailing fastball with a hard, sharp slider is generally effective from a three-quarter slot - check K-Rod. If Hansen struggles, get him out QUICK. We do not need him getting frustrated and down on himself because this kid is gonna be one helluva reliever, whether it be this year or next. But, Let me be the first to say it: Hansen has ice water in his veins.
  5. ummmm......what sport is that?
  6. 2 on, 2 outs.....sheffroids up
  7. hes right up there with embree
  8. yankees go down in order again hendrickson is lookin pretty good so far
  9. That franchise is a disgrace. Revenue sharing has actually been making a difference in the last couple years. Many of the "small market" teams have been slowly improving, but the Royals have been moving in the opposite direction. It's almost as if they WANT to lose...they're like the LA Clippers. I think that Major Leagues - in any sport - should have a system where owners that have demonstrated a clear lack of interest in being competitive can be bought out by the league without their consent, as long as they get fair market value for the franchise (perhaps set by an independent auditor). Teams like the Clippers, the Bengals, the Royals, the Devil Rays, etc are BAD for their respective sports.
  10. lol... Can you imagine if that ever happened here? I'm sure Tony G was glad to get out of there. To be honest I think it would be just as hard to lose 17 in a row as it is to win 17 in a row. The only losing streak I can compare this to is when The Orioles opened the season back in late 80's or early 90's? Losing their first 20+ games without a victory.
  11. guybo did you catch that game today? 3 for 5, 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and an RBI. Pretty good days work by our shortstop. Rents had a good game and kept us in there undoubtedly, the POTG
  12. yankees go down in order
  13. rays get 2 runs on just 1 hit. 3rd inning: 2-1 rays

  17. it just doesnt look obvious to you because your a yankee fan i guess the umps could be thrown off cuz of sheffs violent swing. and thought it was kind of funny that a yankee fan reached over and caught that ball last night...hahaha
  18. jeter grounds out to end the inning
  19. hey they just showed a graphic on the yes network and it said millar has the 5th best average at tropicana field. btw, hendrickson has struck out the 1st 2 batters of the inning, whore-hey, and old fart bernie
  20. 2nd inning: 1-0 evil
  21. 1-0 bad guys....dont want to hear any yankee fans complaining about the umps because sheffroids got away with a strikeout
