  5. since Matt Clement got smacked in the face @ Tampa I took a* look at his stats and here is what I found: 08/04 vs KC - 5IP, 5H, 6R, 6ER, 4BB, 5K and got the win due to a nice amount of run support 08/09 vs TEX - 6IP, 6H, 2R, 1ER, 2BB, 6K with a no-decision (Sox won 8-7 in extras) 08/19 @ ANA - 7IP, 6H, 1R, 1ER, 1BB, 5K with another no-decision (Sox won 4-3) this is Matt getting better and better (slowly but surely) with each outing he's had since the beaning he's avg. 107 pitches/game since his start @ Tampa and appears to be only getting stronger since then... it's gonna be awfully nice to watch him mow down the Royals tonight in preparation for the stretch run... he's only getting stronger!
  6. yeah there is no way they can ban the chant, freedom of speech
  7. I saw this, but they can still sell them outside. But I do love those Yankees Suck chants.
  8. yeah she is pretty ugly, I remember I was watchin a match on ESPN a couple years ago and they said Mauresmo was a dike, still can't believe they said that on the air.
  9. frank robinson and schilling think palmeiro's records should be wiped out, do you? http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/articles/2005/08/24/nationals_manager_wants_palmeiros_records_wiped_out/

  15. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2141482 Trouble continues to envelope this guy. I wish he would just be a baseball player - he's a good one. As for critiquing leaderhip, he should also understand that if some one has to tell you you are a leader, you are not much of a leader . . .
  16. gonzalez is underrated and for renteria, he has been playing great. he is batting .357 with 10 doubles, 19 runs scored, and 16 RBI this month.
  17. I wonder how Dukie V is gonna act this season when the Big East is the best conference in college basketball.
  18. welcome dave
  19. thats great, he can't be worse than remlinger.
  20. he hit another grand slam today
  21. your making the same argument, you dont think ortiz should be MVP because hes a DH, this is an idiotic argument.
  22. game over....red sox win, 3.5 game lead in the division, more importantly 4 ahead in the loss column good all around effort 4-4 on the road trip now. MVP: renteria was awesome, turned a couple DP's great play to end the game and he went 3-4 with 2 doubles, he's really turning it around....come out come out wherever you are renteria haters!
