He's on the up right now. Solid pick up. He's not pitching tonight on 3 days rest so I'm guessing they let Zink go tonight and if he does good then they'll stick Byrd in Clay's spot and if he doesn't do well then they'll just have Byrd cover Wake next start and then move the worst of Clay, Wake and Byrd to the pen/minors.

    I'd save Papelbon. One inning isn't going to kill Beckett and he was doing fine. Against a team like the Rangers we'll more than likely need Paps more than we did tonight.
