I would cheer him. He took 12 million dollars a year from the Yankees for four years and he's 34 years old as a Center Fielder. By not signing with us he essentially gave us 26 year old CF wh is on the rise for less money. I stand up and cheer for anyone who does that for the Red Sox.

Foulke has finally proved to me he is back to old form, Papelbon has been far and away the best reliever in baseball, Timlin should be good, this could be the year he finally falls but lets wait untill at least after AUGUST to bury him. Tavarez over the years has been a good set up man lets just see how we does, and we have MDC up to cover a hole if we need it. And here I was think our bullpen is one of the storngest parts of our team. Silly me.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Keep Pap's in the closer untill the end of the year then work him back into being a starter in the offseason. Call Hansen up and let him work as Set Up man as Timlin hasn't been to hot this year, and Foulke is prone to blow at any time.

You bring otu stats liek that this early in the season. Yes he has a low walks/hits per IP's problem is he's only got 8 innings pitched. We need him to prove he can pitch in the closer situation before we can consider taking Papelbon out.

Hansen consistently hits 98 on the gun. He's going to be the closer when his time comes, Papelbon in the future has the stuff to be a great starter, but for this year by the looks of it things are going to stay the way they are untill either hansen is ready or Foulke stops sucking. EDIT: Hansens doesn't have enough pitches to be a really good starter.

It's Manny Ramirez, his hitting is the last tihng I'm worried about.
