The defense has SUCKED this week, anothe error by Youks today isn't helping it.

Clement had a decent start last time out, and as bad as he has been Lester and Pauley at 4 and 5 is not going to end up well for the Sox in the end. We need him back.

Over the past month or so Tavarez and Seanez have actually pitched pretty well. I will say this though I would drop one of them to pick up Scott Sauerbeck who got DFA'd by the Guardians a few days ago. We are in desperate need of a lefty reliever.

Either way I give the edge to Dye, write ins never get it anyways.

I don't know about the worst 7-8-9 of all time but they did well decent today. It was a good day to do it against a rookie pircher, and rest up Lowell and Loretta before a 4 gam set against the Yankees.

Ok if we're talking about one game I take Pedro even with Roger's 20 K games. Let's take a look at Roger's two 20 K games and then look at Pedro's best game ever. First one against the Mariners in 1986, If you look at that Mariners team they lived at the bottom of the standings all year and turned out to be one of the worst teams in the history of the game as far as strike outs go. The second one against Detroit also a meaningless game against a bottom of the standings team. Now lets look at Pedro's best single game performance, he went into Yankee Stadium: one of the most hostile environments to play in, in September during a pennant race: one of the biggest games of the year. He struck out 17 and gave up one hit. Probabaly one of the most dominant pitching performances in baseball history. He got a standing ovation in Yankee Stadium by Yankee fans, probabaly the only time that's ever happened to a Red Sox player. If it's one game there's no question I take Pedro, anything beyond that I take Clemens.

All I want is Loretta to start over A-Rod, it's never going to happen because the casual fan is going to look at the ballot see A-Rods name and just check it witout knowing that Lowell has been doing better this season. This voting system sucks, the players and amnages should decide the starters.
