    i was wondering how many different ranks there are and after how many posts they change? my rank is major leaguer and i want to know what the next rank is and when i will get it? ATTN-YESZIR, can u give a list of the ranks in order and after how many posts are required to get that rank?

    yeszir was bein sarcastic...i hope. anyway if we dont win this game, i dont know what ill do. this should be another win tonight regardless of whos pitching. the way we have been playing it doesnt matter whos on the mound. our rotation has turned since playing .500 ball in certain months, and it shows. we have a great rotation, right now id take it over the yanks anyway. we need to win this game, 12 of 13 games winning is a helluva good show. we are possibly the most dominant team in baseball today. go sox.

    70+ games is still a possibility of under 500, so it doesnt speak much...that can prove that they would almost be as bad as the devil rays or tigers, which in no way shape or form would be remotely possible. the yankees would still be fine without him. but the fact is, we cant go by what would have happened, this is what IS happening. if sheff is having a good year, fine. but there are plenty other people than sheff who deserve it. people like manny, vlad, pudge and ortizzle, who are actually carrying a team.

    well every other team on the face of the planet wins again, but as long as we keep winning i have no complaints. ill settle for the WC nicely. but the east would be a treat.

    actually maybe my bias did kinda help me.

    doug mientkiewicz hurt himself sliding into second base as he was thrown out in toronto two nights ago (wednesday august 25th). the injury should only keep him out for a couple days. personally, i was hoping that this would be short, hes a great solid player with a golden glove. get well soon doug. source: red sox pregame (8/27/04)-red sox vs tigers, lowe vs maroth.

    im glad he took off while we won 3 outta 4. now hes back and hopefully the torch is still lit as he is on FIAH (or was, hopefully still is). ill be listenin for a few..."tek is bet-ter" chants tonights. go sox...lowe has gotten back on track, and maroth is a solid pitcher to. wont be a pitchers duel, but i think theyll pitch identically. go sox.

    i agree that he could be a candidate, but he wont win going up against the likes of manny, ortiz, vlad, pudge. i would however, not being biased, give it to him over sheff. durazo has something to carry, sheff does not. and now im going to get a big argument of how sheff plays when hes hurt...so intrigue me, empire.

    having HRs doesnt mean s***, it just states that u either get out, or u hit a HR. and believe me, getting runs by HRs early is the worst possible way because you have no room for mechanics on the base paths.

    yea hes got some batting issues tho...people call him a "AAAA" player because they are too good for AAA and not quite good enoguh for majors. he could be a bench player but hes ruined already. what he knows is too late to switch around.

    damn...and the rangers are winning. at least we still won...anaheim didnt play tonight so here are the standings... boston --- anaheim .5 GB texas 2.5 GB (will be 2 after their game is over) yanks won so they are still up 5.5...grrr at least its a good sign to see the yanks had to come from behind to beat the JAYS. as long as we keep winning like this i feel confident about this season. we got lowe tomorrow who is pretty hot as of late. lets go buddy its all yours.
