  1. Wilfork probably can't lift his leg up enough to even kick the ball That IS pretty funny.
  2. Ooooooooo, my bad. Sorry for bursting your bubble
  3. Well then, that's also like saying just because RJ has been on a tear recently, he won't be nearly as effective as a postseason starter. I tend to believe RJ will continue his success into the postseason.
  4. This was a side of the Patriots we aren't used to seeing. We will bounce back from this loss, whenever something like this happens, you can always trust that Belichick will fix it. I just have a feeling that even though it's only Week 4, our homefield advantage bid has already gone down the shitter with Indianapolis playing unbelievably well.
  5. I don't even think Bob Kraft would allow it. Sit the full season out, and come back next year. We don't need any stupid injuries.
  6. Having Empire back is fun. He's not NEARLY as bad as he was.
  7. When did I say it was a disgrace?
  8. The talent on this team is there, it's just a question of whether we wake up and realize who we are, and that we are the defending champs. Clement needs to perform like he did in the first half of the season. Wake needs to shake off his last outing against the Yanks and keep on rolling. Schilling, he's a question, and I'm not sold on his ability yet, we've been waiting for a long time, and the patience has run out, even though he's been solid, not great, but solid against the Yanks today. Arroyo needs to be more consistent, Wells just needs to pitch like old times, and mix up his pitches a lot. The bullpen needs to come together, with Papelbon and Timlin leading the way. Pitching wins championships, that's why we beat the Cards last year. Our offense just has to keep hitting the ball.
  9. You don't bring Mueller back. Youk is so ready for the big leagues, and Mueller has also grounded into an un-wanted amount of DP's this year. (22 I believe.) While his defense will be missed, I have no problem thinking that Youk will fill his role nicely.
  10. I have FAITH in Theo, but not Tito Whatever, I would rather have Wake on a full rest scheme pitching for us now than a Schilling, but it will be alright.
  11. Heh, well the Red Sox won the season series 4-3, AND we made Buehrle and Garland look like rookies in their most recent outings against us. I would also love to piss of your main man "The Hawk." He is the most annoying front-running asswipe ever. But, good luck! Heh, we didn't need any help from you guys today There are also an unusual amount of new members joining today... I hope they stay for good and aren't idiots.
  12. Dan Shaughnessy is a f***ing idiot. Don't take anything he says seriously.
  13. Some people are just bitter right now, and utterly pissed off. It's kind of like when your drunk, you talk out of your ass out of sheer stupidity because you're bombed, but you wake up the next day and you're totally into it and realize what's really going on. I can understand the pain, especially being the Sox fans we are, but the sting of this will die down tomorrow when we clinch the Wild Card The Yanks can have the division (even though I wanted it terribly, lol ). Let's remember, for the past 3 years, the World Champs have been Wild Card winners. Let's make it 4 straight years!!
  14. Don't even waste your breath. This yanksfantoo guy, yankees13, yanks, redsoxpoop... They're all here simply because of today, and no other reason, only to see our reactions to them winning the division, and won't be consistent posters. So, therefore, don't take into account ANYTHING that they have to say
  15. Haha, we can merge the two threads into this one! Wooooo!!! Yeah.....Olerud would have made a number of botched Millar plays today
  16. What do you mean you got the last laugh...especially saying "again?" We laughed last year after game 7 of the ALCS. We also laughed after game 4 of the World Series. We also laughed on Opening Day at Fenway Park this year. AND, it's not like you knocked us out of the playoffs...I don't even think we'll meet again after tomorrow. Have fun with the Angels
  17. A lot of people didn't think it either, what a mistake it was...
  18. I laugh at anyone who counted the Yanks out... Congrats to the Yanks, through all the disappointment and frustration with injuries, they still pull it off with a season-ending memorable run.
  19. My thoughts? Watch the first inning. Wells wasn't presented with a good strikezone AT ALL there. If their players would hit the ball and capitalize, then they would score runs. The ump was just as bad for the Yanks as he was for the Sox, just at different times during the game. Unfortunately for the Yanks, it was inconsistent for them in the most crucial part of the game.
  20. I am getting a REALLY strong feeling that you are GabeKaplerLuver19's clone. Anyone else?
  21. I would post a picture of Carl Pavano giving up like 354124354236 runs before the first out was recorded at Fenway 2 years ago, and I would also just post a picture of him in a Yankee uniform, but I'm too lazy. So picture it in your heads, and say "Thank you Marlins!!"
  22. The only thing that scares me about this statement is that this was said about the Cardinals last year.
  23. Welcome, enjoy your stay
  24. He deletes them so people don't see them, Soxfan. If he locks them you can still read them.
  25. I want to have David Ortiz's children.
