  1. Hmmm....weird that honoring him coincides with the start of the biggest series of the season, against the YANKS.
  2. Thanks 26-6, was about to say that. Stop having orgasms over it until we really know for sure. The reality of the situation right now, whether under the influence of HGH or something else, is that Giambi has been tearing it up, and while he may come under suspicion, it doesn't matter. He's doing well for the Yankees, and everyone just shut up about Giambi and what he's doing to other teams and let's start worrying about how the Sox are gunna overtake the Yanks and win the division. Enough of the Giambi talk, until he's proven guilty, there's nothing we can do, and bitching isn't gunna get it done any faster.
  3. No, what you're gunna hear is "It was the f***ing Orioles, who are 242353245 times worse than the Yankees."
  4. Unfortunately, so am I
  5. Why didn't I think of that.... You're one smart cookie () Welcome and enjoy your stay!!!!
  6. Truthfully, there is NO plus side to this loss. Harville sucked at the end. Schilling lost his stuff sooner than I thought he would. We missed GIANT opportunities in terms of having a better record than the Guardians, AND taking a 1 game lead over the Yanks, which is imperative to have going into the final series of the season. We better gear right back up, and take the remaining games from this team. I can pretty much GUARANTEE that the Yankees will not have another gross game like this with the Orioles.
  7. He said assuming we do, meaning IF, a very clear IF that we all know is present, then do you like to face the Yanks in the playoffs or have them miss out. We know the reality of the situation.
  8. I must say, Renteria has been quite impressive lately, even if he's been robbed a few times as well. EDIT: PAPI!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Give Brady f***ing 29 seconds, you still give him too much time. Pats for the win.
  10. You can't compare them. They play 2 different sports, not to mention Papi probably couldn't lift his leg above his waist But in all seriousness, they're equally important and clutch to each team as they are to each other.
  11. Rodney Harrison, Matt Light, Randall Gay, Tyrone Poole...all down. Yet we still beat the STEELERS. I try to say this as non-biased as possible, but I think we just viewed the best team in football. It's unbelievable how we outplayed the Steelers physically, and it's scary to think how good we will be when we get Harrison/Light/Gay/Poole back. BRING ON SAN DIEGO!
  12. Normally, I would agree with your statement, joe. But the Sox bats are just alive, and if you remember Baltimore has always been a pain in our asses as well. So, that being said, if I had to choose where to face Toronto, there would be no place like home! While I'm not getting my hopes up too much, at the same time I'm feeling pretty confident in the performance of our team in the most recent games.
  13. Vinatieri coming out... THE KICK IS GOOD!!! PATS WINNING 23-20 WITH 1 SECOND LEFT!!!!! This proves that the team we saw Carolina, was a fluke. Let's just hope we don't f*** up on this kick return.
  14. He never said that. He said while your homegrown talent is still great, they are on their decline as opposed to our homegrown talent, which is looking promising, and will be great in the future.
  15. Great....20-20 tie. I dunno about that pass interference call...even the announcers say so lol.
  16. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I remember correctly that game with the Sox vs. Yanks where the Yanks won the game 1-0, wasn't Mo on like 3 days rest? Or was it a game around that time. I forget
  17. 20-13 Pats on a Vinatieri FG! Shut 'em down again defense!!!! 3:19 left in the 4th.
  18. Hm, curious as to why this thread hasn't been updated, 17-13 Pats, and they're on fire marching right back down the field. Amazing that we are able to stay in the game like this, in fact, lead the game, against the Steelers, with all the injuries that have occured today. Pats own, that game against Carolina was a fluke. No doubt about that.
  19. Well I think he's wishing both teams well and whoever is truly better, will win. So, my response: CHEERS!
  20. The line is the most important thing on the field, yet very under appreciated and underrated. Proof? What Tom Brady is going through right now.
  21. Roethlisberger is down. Hate to see such a young quarterback with such success as he has had so far rolling on the ground like that. He looks okay, probably just the wind knocked out of him. Wish that's the only thing that was wrong with our guys
  22. Now Matt Light goes down....how the f*** are we going to win this game without our starters?!?!!?
  23. Great...now Rodney Harrison goes down. Wtf do we need to do to keep our players healthy?
  24. Renteria with a triple!!! He's getting back on fire! The Sox are just TEARING IT UP!!!!
