  1. Actually, Riverside claims to be a 22 year old. Is he still in high school? You make the decision...
  2. PARTY!! At Stocker's house?!?!!? ...oops...
  3. Welcome fellow RSN-er!
  4. Haha, the sad truth is: For 86 years we only knew how to explain losing. Nothing more. We have no idea how to explain winning, LET ALONE the fact of coming off of a World Series run. It's all different because we have finally won, so the atmosphere is going to be COMPLETELY different.
  5. lol...I could make fun of someone in another thread, then just come to their defense in another thread. Maybe I'm just too trigger happy?
  6. I think the bold part was meant for the fans, but the second part meant for the players. How the f*** does us wanting it make an impact on how the team does? The team needs to want it...I think that's what he meant, but I could be wrong..whatever.
  7. It's called sarcasm and making a joke out of a typo, and not meaning it....ass.
  8. No, he means the team needs to want it. I will agree with arod2212 here. Too many times this season did I feel like I was watching a team who didn't care if they won or lost. It seemed like they were thinking, "Okay, we won in 2004 so we can take a year or two of relaxation..." Honestly, this postseason and the final stretch of the regular season seemed like they just wanted the season to be over and go be lazy during the offseason. I didn't see a team that wanted another set of rings, they had NO spark when it counted most.
  9. Okay then, I'm ashamed that you're only a year younger than me. Why do all 14 year olds these days seem SO SO much younger than me? Maybe I'm just advanced for a 15 year old. Who knows. Also, I'm probably closer to being 2 years older than you...I'm almost 16. Woot.
  10. Better yet, why the f*** would ANYONE want to stalk him? Anyway, yeah, Johnny will find a home next year, somewhere. I just hope it isn't in NY, and even if it is, I wish him well...key part of our success of 2004.
  11. That's because you are an illiterate 14 year old child.
  12. Uh, welcome, but to me it seems that you are a bit sour after losing yesterday. Johnny is very valuable. There are a TON of people who think A-Rod should be the MVP (with good reasons behind that), and Manny is possibly the best hitter in the game. Who cares about the hot-dogging? A lot of people find it funny. As for the Yankees, yes, I hope they lose
  13. Be gracious, they're complimenting us. Thank you ChiTownSox77. If the Yankees advance, KICK THEIR ASSES!
  14. And if we did suicide squeeze and failed, you'd be ranting and raving about why they shouldn't have suicide squeezed.
  15. The Ortiz bunt was done with the shift on. And Tek bunting isn't the greatest thing. I just don't see this team suicide squeezing.
  16. f*** Embree. It's not like he's loved in NY either...
  17. I was on the bus back from my football game at Lawrence Academy in high hopes because we just won. I didn't get excited about the Sox after game 2's loss, so I just shook it off and am currently waiting for next year. Wasn't as mad as I thought I'd be.
  18. Because that's the ChiSox philosophy on the game. They would expect it and find a way to stop it. We on the other hand only needed a base hit, or a sac fly. We got NEITHER. And this team doesn't bunt at all it seems. Messing up a bunt in the playoffs isn't the best time to do so.
  19. Guys, stop turning on players so fast. Johnny was a key part of 2004 and you can't say "f*** you, good riddance asswipe!!!!" ANY, and I mean ANY, player would ask for a lot after doing something for Boston. Baseball is a BUSINESS, not a show of loyalty.
  20. OKAY let's get off the hockey talk, this is a congrats to White Sox and thanks Boston thread. Congrats to the White Sox, we know what it's like winning after a long drought!! Good luck in the playoffs, and stick it to the Cubs fans please. Think about the mass suicide that would happen among the Cubs fans if the ChiSox won a World Series Hah, thanks guys, we're not as bad as we're cracked up to be. Just a little cranky sometimes
  21. Hahah it was funny because, even after the game, the 'Noles fans were still there in a completely empty Alumni Stadium doing that tomahawk arm thingy. Was funny Can't wait until my high school team plays on that field in two weeks!!!!
  22. I posted that the option is there, but knowing our manager, Tito would have to be on the crack pipe to make a decision to pitch Papelbon. It's gunna be Clement, he's already announced it.
