Before anyone gets upset or thinks I'm trolling, read the end of this message. Before this series started I really hated Boston, equally as much as the Spanks, and nearly as much as the Cubs. In fact a large majority of PaleHose fans called the RedSox the Red Cubs. I really thought that the Boston and Cub fans were one and the same. "Woe is us, we are cursed" in addition I perceived them to be hooligan-degenerate fans who don't know anything about the game.
I couldn't have been any more wrong, the class and knowledge of the Boston fans, both from the first game in Chicago on Tuesday that I attended, and people posting here and at various PaleHose boards really surprised me. Cheers to the real BoSox fans and the city of Boston because a lot of White Sox fans are reporting that they were treated terrifically as guests. Collectively you have changed the minds of a lot of Chicagoans and a lot of Pale Hose fans.
I think the negative image associated with Boston, is a lot of their douchebag fans who don't even live there. For example, all of the sCrUB fans seem to believe they have some sacred bond with Boston. Either way, cheers to the real fans and the city of Boston, the team, organization, fans, and city showed their true colors.
