    I wonder. I know he came to camp out of shape, but I haven't seen him recently to know if he's still fat. Then again, being fat hasn't kept a number of major league pitchers from pitching consistently deep into games. I like him as long relief, though.

    Not actually watching the game. Obviously the early results are good for Webster, but how does he actually look? What pitches does he throw? How fast? I know nothing about the guy.

    I'm just now noticing that Salty is DHing. Ummm...? How about a hat rack with a bat duct-taped to it instead? That at least will require the pitcher to throw 3pitches per at bat.

    We should see if the Royals want to trade catchers. I'm talking straight up. Our guy is taller so they're clearly getting the better end of the deal.

    It's pretty rough. I think I'm pretty much done with my extended look at Drew 2: Electric Boogaloo. I know, I know, Papi started slow a couple of years and he's back to being the beast he was, but Drew doesn't exactly have Papi's resum?. WMD needs to get his head in the game. Everyone who watches him knows what his problem is. He and the coaches need to fix it. Carp and Ciriaco ought to be playing tonight. EDIT: Clearly, as UN says the Hawaiian should be playing tonight, if possible. If not, Carp. Or do we really, really not want to see Carp in the OF?
