  1. yes please
  2. But just because you pick guys for those positions doesn't mean you're going to play a 4-4 or whatever. I have Shonn Greene and LeRon McClain but that doesn't mean they're going to be on the field for every snap. I want to be able to set my defense up so it will be able to succeed against any offensive schemes that would get thrown at them. Sometimes 3-4 is better than 4-3, so being able to have two great inside linebackers and a solid core of defensive tackles is pretty important to me. Anyways, I'm taking Darren Sproles, RB3/KR/PR. I love this pick, not only do I get an explosive and slippery kick and punt returner, but a guy who can be a great change of pace back between Greene and McClain, and adds a pass catching threat out of my backfield.
  3. Not necessarily. I might consider picking another DT sooner than later. It's much better to have a versatile defense that can play in multiple schemes and formations. Having the ability to switch 3-4, 4-3, etc is something that is extremely invaluable.
  4. I like this pick. I was debating between him and McClain. Both guys who have proven to be able to take the load of carries if needed, but are great run and pass blockers as well.
  5. I know, big man.
  6. I'm shocked Bargnani dropped to me. A former number one pick who has been blossoming in Toronto and should see a good spike without Bosh. He's a great complement to Chandler, a guy who can play with him too, come in and stretch the defense and shoot the long ball.
  7. So far, I realy like my team. I don;t have the stars, but I have a good squad, who would probably play well together as a team. The scorer, the do it all PG, the defensive center, etc. Depending on who his next pick is, I think Kilo has the best team. If he makes the right pick next, his top 5 would be unreal.
  8. LeRon McClain, RB2 This is a guy who is probably the strongest runner in the league with the ball, he throws vicious blocks, and there aren't many other people who I would rather have in a goal line situation. He has also shown the ability to do well when he gets more carries as well. Good change of pace back from Greene as well.
  9. Since MSU basically said he's done with this in so many words, I'm just going to put my pick up because he's got 2 guys already at this position anyways. Just trying to keep things moving. AJ Hawk, ILB
  10. In Chandler I get not only my defensive big, but a guy who can play in a fast paced running offense, but also play extremely well in play sets in the half court. Like I said in the other thread, he's not the sexy pick, but I feel he fits my team perfectly. Definitely some bigger names available, but I fwel like between this pick and my next, the bigs will be falling off the board. Adds a vet to play with two younger guys.
  11. Good things, my pick is safe.
  12. I don't think you do. PM me who you think it is?
  13. I'm really pumped about my next pick.

  15. I thought he would last a few more rounds. You forced my hand and I'm definitely taking my alternate with my next pick.
  16. The talent level on our team may have been lowered, but as we all saw in 2001, talent doesn't matter. We're a better team today with Branch than 2 weeks ago with Moss. The fact that we bullied the Ravens, one of the toughest teams, especially in the third quarter shows how large getting rid of Moss was. Even though Moss really would have no effect on that in the game, getting rid of Moss changed the culture of the team. We're better with Branch than Moss.
  17. The subtraction of Moss and addition of Branch would have a positive impact on the Patriots as a whole.
  18. Branch had 9/98 and a TD, 7/79 in the 4th and OT. Can we just say I was right, most everyone else was wrong, and move on?
  19. Great pick youk, he was next for me. Back to the drawing board.
  20. Cullen Jenkins, DE
  21. OK so the site was down for a while, I don't think it'd be fair to skip MSU because of that, so since Ital has my pick, he can put it down whenever he sees fit.
  22. I've got physical therapy at 1, so I'll send you my pick so you can throw it up at 1:17
  23. I see quite a few kinks in this, if the point is to build a team for three years for now, then what is the point of using salaries? Rookies come in and play on a rookie scale, they'll probably have 2-3 times the salary by that point in their career if they're that good of a player, so theoretically you could stack your team early with guys like Wall, et al, who really won't be making much relative to guys like James, Wade, Bryant, and then fill out your salaries later with top players.
