Robert Geathers, DE
This wasn't my favorite pick on the board, but I felt that since I'll be playing primarily a 3-4 I needed another DE to round out my d-corps. Geathers is good against the run and better against the pass. I love how my defense looks, and I'm waiting on my last DT to make myself a defense that can play very well in a 3-4 and 4-3. I was thinking about a TE but I figured that it could wait a couple more rounds, since all the skill TEs are gone its not worth wasting a pick to me now.
FWIW... I selected McClain as my 2nd RB and Sproles as my 3rd and long RB with primarily return duties. I think it's worth to have two guys behind my starter who can do more than just being a RB. McClain can do it all, catch, run, and block, Sproles is my 3rd and long back, intended for passes out of the backfield, along with return.
Whatever it is, I'll say the over.
Kidding.
Ital, update the "need to be added to the chart" list, and I'll quote the chart and throw them in so we can at least have one of those 3 guys just throw that back onto the first post.
Edit: You did update that list, so I'll have the updated chart quoted here for someone else to throw onto the first post of the thread.
The Heat are going to have a lot of trouble beating teams who have good transition defense. They have the best transition offense in the league, and if teams can slow them down and make them grind it out in the halfcourt, they're going to have some issues as they're more of an iso team as opposed to a ball movement team.
Rondo, Williams, Billups, Hinrich are all no contest better than him. You could also make a case for Tony Parker.
Bryant, Pierce, James, Prince, Deng, Marion, Kirilenko, Wallace, Artest, Josh Smith, Battier, etc etc etc. I could go on and on.
Paul and Iguodala are definitely not top 5. Iguodala is a fringe top ten at the very best, top 15 is more realistic. Paul is pretty good, but he gets way overrated cause of his steal numbers. He's definitely one of the better PG defenders, but I don't think he's top 3.
IMO the top 5 so far in no order:
WB
Kilo
Ital
Jacoby
Myself
Teams are gonna start really separating themselves now, it's pretty clear who is building the teams and who is taking the best player with no other consequences.
