Garnett, Pierce and Allen? I don't see how people think that could be successful.
How the hell are those three going to share the ball? It'd be practically impossible.
People are acting like we're f***ed. We're not. Allen and Pierce can give you a good core for 5-6 more years, provided they both stay. Jefferson, Allen, Rondo, and Green are all really young and have great potential. You have great role players in Perk, Powe, Gomes, hopefully Pruitt and Davis.
This team can be good for a while, I don't see why people are so ready and willing to forge Jefferson, Green, and Rondo for a guy like Garnett. Jefferson is already a very very good player and can be an all star this year if he gets the touches, so whats the need for Garnett? Garnetts best asset is his offensive versatility, well that isn't needed because we already have plenty of shooters, and in the post is our weakness. Jeffersons post game is more advanced than Garnetts.
I'll take Jefferson, Rondo, and Green over Garnett.
