Someone mentioned Brevin Knight and I've been talking about him for a long time. If no one wants to give him a ridiculous (by his standards) contract, I'm hoping we can get him for the MLE.

all morning i was hearing al, rondo and theo, so this deal the herald is reporting tickles me a little more than that one i havent really been huge on getting KG at the expense of Jefferson, and I still don't think I am. Will I be upset? Nope. Not sure if giving Al away for KG is the best move. But either way this makes us instant favorites for the East with Allen Pierce and KG

ehhhhhh i tore my meniscus (and my ACL too). its a s***** injury to have, but its definitely able to be played on. i was on both of those tears for over 3 months before i was able to have surgery i play tennis, so obvioulsy im moving side to side and quickly and s*** so its a bad idea for me to play, but i was still able to run a bit, jog, etc, so i think as long as he keeps icing it and is careful with what he does, he should be fine.

We don't need him off the dribble. Pierce is perfectly fine beating guys off the dribble, you're acting like all he can do is stand there and wait for a pass, but with Rondo's playmaking abilities I think Allen could be a very good slasher, great coming off picks, etc. A guy with the PG skills like Rondo will make Allens game so much more multi dimensional because of the ways he can get looks for Allen.

Al Jefferson had the exact same surgery last year and look how he bounced back. Allen has said multiple times that his ankles are fine, and I believe that. Allen will have no injury problems in Boston bar for maybe one small one that costs him a few games at the most. He'll be playing 70+ games.

What makes you guys think this team can't be good? Walker and Pierce led us to the finals with a bunch of role players. Allen and Pierce are a much better and more efficient tandem right now than Walker and Pierce were. We have a low post presence right now in Jefferson that we didn't have back then. People aren't giving Allen enough credit. This team can be very good.

Garnett, Pierce and Allen? I don't see how people think that could be successful. How the hell are those three going to share the ball? It'd be practically impossible. People are acting like we're f***ed. We're not. Allen and Pierce can give you a good core for 5-6 more years, provided they both stay. Jefferson, Allen, Rondo, and Green are all really young and have great potential. You have great role players in Perk, Powe, Gomes, hopefully Pruitt and Davis. This team can be good for a while, I don't see why people are so ready and willing to forge Jefferson, Green, and Rondo for a guy like Garnett. Jefferson is already a very very good player and can be an all star this year if he gets the touches, so whats the need for Garnett? Garnetts best asset is his offensive versatility, well that isn't needed because we already have plenty of shooters, and in the post is our weakness. Jeffersons post game is more advanced than Garnetts. I'll take Jefferson, Rondo, and Green over Garnett.

Unfortunately, SOTK, a draft being deep as hell doesnt matter if you got the #5 pick where the players 3-12 are pretty equal and only have that one draft pick. If you have 3 first round picks, thats where depth in a draft can do you wonders.

Guys you're retarded. Why in the hell would we trade Al for Garnett? Say we do that and nothing works out. Who exactly do we have to build around? Exactly, no one. Al needs to say, give him a year or two he'll be better than Garnett.

I don't like this deal as much as you goons do. Jeff Green has the potential to be great, and Delonte was an awesome role player. Allen has a massive contract and that severely hampers any chance at signing anyone for anything more than the MLE, so basically what we see is what we're gonna get at this point. This is basically back to the good ole days of Pierce and Toine (Allen) chucking up shots, only big difference is we got a hungry man to feed down low in Jefferson, a point guard who can do more than Kenny Anderson ever dreamed of doing on the defensive end (mind you Andersons offensive talent was way superior to what Rondos is), a kid in Allen who basically got chucked to the bench (and I think he still needs minutes, best defender on the team) because he hurt himself, and a kid who needs minutes in Green. Rondo/Pruitt Allen/Allen Pierce/Gerald Gomes/Davis/Scal Al/Perk/Powe thats a pretty nice team barring Rondo running the point like we all hope he will, Al continuing to get better than he was at the end of last year, and Allen and Pierce not pissing and moaning about touches. Interested to see what happens with this roster. All I have to say is we still need to use our trading chips in Ratliff and Telfair. If we were to swing Gomes or Davis away in a deal to net someone else with those two other guys I won't complan.

love the pruitt pick, i was thinking they would have gone with taurean green, but i think pruitt has more upside than green does. danny did work tonight. dont be surprised to see ratliff, telfair, and/or someone else traded soon as well
