    ATL made out great with Horford and Law. Noah is eeeeeh in Chicago. They really needed low post scoring like they were saying and he can't really give much. I think he'll turn out fine there though.

    allen isnt worth the number five pick, let alone delonte and wally, but i like it i think rondo/telfair allen/allen pierce/green gomes/scal al/perk we still need depth with our bigs and a point guard and maybe some more experience it also takes a lot of pressure of tony allen to come back and be like he was last year right away.

    you're not. theyve been talking it up on the radio all day. i'd love to see it. it does a lot. it gives pierce another scorer and veteran leader, doesn't put too much pressure on tony allen to hurry back, you keep al and gerald. only problem is that i dont think the salaries match up here and itd have to be someone like wally not theo.

    Gimme Marion all day as long as we don't need to give up Big Al. If we could get away with only giving away Theo, the pick, and either Telfair/West or a small piece like that, it'd be rape. Rondo Allen Pierce/Green Marion/Gomes Jefferson/Perk You'd have like no back court depth but that's what the MLE is for. There are a few good guys that could be had for the MLE that we could pick up off of free agency.

    I'm thinking either trade down for him and acquire a few smaller pieces to get him lower, or use Ratliff and the pick to get a 3rd guy to go with Pierce and Jefferson. Those are the only 2 options you can go unless you want to deal Pierce. Ratliff, Green and maybe a next years pick for Kirilenko?

    haha 1) if you think the hawks are dumb enough to trade johnson who is going to be 26 friday and is going to be entering his prime years AND the number three pick for pierce, an aging veteran who is pushing 30 and has maybe 1 year left in his prime, you're dumber than i thought. 2) you can't compete with 2 rookies logging starters minutes, its just not possible 3) you can't expect to be good when you have a 2nd year point guard with 2 rookies playing. you just can't 4) and if you think any celtic fan is going to wait four more years just to be competitive, you're wrong. get a clue bro, this team needs to compete within the next two years or else the fan base will be gone (not saying i will, just the fan base in general). THANK GOD you aren't our GM.

    You'd trade a 22 year old kid with a huge potential that he has already tapped into, and an amazing low post game for a guy his age (along with the 5th pick, possibly Gerald Green (god knows how good he can be), and a filler or two?) for an aging 32 year old guy with no experience winning? Yeah, Garnett is a better player at the moment, but in 1-2 years Jefferson will surpass him, no doubt in my mind. Garnett isn't a winner, and it'd be 10 times easier to teach Jefferson to become a winner than to teach Garnett to become a winner. EDIT: Al is also going to be a top ten post player this year, no doubt in my mind. He'll go for 20/11 this year.

    me gusta papelbon mucho i dont think i've ever been so excited to see the sox winning in 1, 2, and 3 run games. i never have ever loved watching two guys pitch more than okajima and papelbon (maybe except for pedro)

    There is actually... Jefferson SHOULD NOT BE TRADED FOR EITHER. If I were the TWolves or Pacers I'd do Green, West, Ratliff, and the 5th pick for one of them. Fair trade for two big time stars on the decline. They'd get an up and coming dynamic scorer, a great trading chip in Ratliff, and a young kid who can shoot the lights out when hes on and play solid at both guard positions, along with whoever they decide to get with the 5th pick.
