  1. Rondo's a top 3 PG defender in the NBA, but I still think a lot of Celtics fans think the kid is DJ. If I'm the Celtics, I'm taking Rondo, if I'm taking the Bulls, I'm taking Rose. Rondo is a better all around player, Rose is a better scorer with a ceiling twice as high as Rondo's.
  2. The Powe Show ripped another ACL. Probably seen his last games in Boston as much as that might suck.
  3. I think we should also keep it kinda exclusive though... restrict it to members which we know will be around daily and will make picks in a timely manner.
  4. Stick the fork in the Habs. Who needs Looch... Lets play the Providence Bruins in game 4.
  5. How Bergeron picked up a penalty there bewilders the s*** out of me. That guys hand was in his face and he was trying to get him off, where was the roughing on him? And Laraque is just a piece of s***. He was just standing there punching anyone (specifically Stuart in the ribs) who was touching a Hab.
  6. Massive goal by Phil with a "buck 25" left (nice one Jack). Not only did we weather the storm but we go into the intermission tied? I'll take that any day of the week.
  7. After Komisarek hit someone from behind
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_FrDjtmTuI Colin Campbell essentially calls Looch a 'bully'. He insinuates that he didn't suspend Cammalleri cause he's 'not a bully'. This guy sucks and you can see an obvious bias just when he speaks.
  9. Either call none or both. I didn't think Bergeron dove, but calling both was appropriate in hindsight.
  10. I said that the Bruins were much more aggressive, skated faster, and skated harder than the Habs did. That's why they got all the calls. None of the 3 hooking call in the second period were unjustified. Not a single one of those was even a borderline call, it was pretty cut and dry. You didn't do a thing to refute that point.
  11. The Canadiens must have a different set of rules than the rest of the teams in the NHL then, because I don't think I've ever seen a team dive, flop, whine, cry, cheap shot, and instigate more than that team right now. Was Game 1 really that long ago or are you just delusional? Edit: You're right, it is pretty black and white though. Lapierre, a guy who has been known for cheap shots, instigating, and whole list of things not only outside the rules, but disrespectful and dirty, is coming towards Lucic. Lucic isn't a little girl and isn't going to turtle over like a vagina (see O'Byrne) so he stood up for himself, and knocked him off his f***ing rocker. Lucic had no intent of a dirty play (see Kostopoulis in Game 1). If Kostopoulis and Komisarek didn't get suspended, why should Lucic for standing up for himself and defending himself.
  12. Boston.com says it's still up in the air at this point but Julien is operating under the assumption that he's playing.
  13. I think that actually has a lot to do with it. Say Lucic went after 'Player X' who was a respectful opponent all year long, I think he's automatically suspended. But since it was Lapierre, and he's been notorious all-season long for being a ninny and an instigator, this gets looked at more indepth.
  14. The only defense is that I guess (1) he wasn't using the stick to hurt him, and (2 - like Julien said) Lapierre has been a **** this entire year long, and really played like an instigator and cheapshotter. I don't feel Looch should be suspended and I feel Lapierre deserved every bit of pain he felt through that, and more.
  15. I'd be floored if he was suspended. The stick didn't even hit Lapierre, his glove did. Sums up how I feel. Lapierre is a dirty player and hes been trying to start s*** all season long when both teams have played. Still, Looch or no Looch I think the B's still roll in MTL and take at least one of the two.
  16. Fun as hell game, Bulls definitely deserved it. But that doesn't bode well for them in the future. The game was close as hell with Pierce and Allen playing like doo-doo. I certainly still think the Celtics will in this series in 5 or 6, but that was a hell of a statement by the Bulls.
  17. I'm not worried yet. Everyone knew Chicago would score points, we just need Jesus to start knocking his s*** down and stop messing around.
  18. kilo convinced me through a PM that said "kthx" i'll do this
  19. Rondo's time to shine.
  20. Kostopoulis' elbow was a little ridiculous as well. Just goes to show how classless this entire Habs team is. They threw their goon Laraque out there too, but they still haven't figured out that they won't be intimidating the '09 B's out of a series.
  21. I'm sniffing a ploy by Danny to just get him to sit out another round (pipe dreamz). I'm probably wrong, hopefully I'm right. I can still see us beating Orlando in 7 though... We've beaten Cleveland without KG at one point this year too.
