  1. Cavs didn't choke, Orlando started to play ball. Both teams hit some huge shots down the stretch there.

  3. Howard just broke the shot clock on a slam. Wow.
  4. Dallas Braden, SP Jason Kubel, DH whatever i'll pick now
  5. Rough day at work, I'm gonna relax for a bit, expect my picks sometime before I go to bed (around 11-1130), if that's going over my time limit, let me know ASAP so I can do something about it.
  6. A few more nearly shocking injury notes:
  7. Only reason I don;t like Sheed is because he's pretty mediocre defensively, and guys his age can't just transform and improve like guys like BBD, Powe, etc.
  8. The thing about Powe though, is that he could be brought back at a MUCH cheaper price than what we originally thought. He would have been a 4-5 million guy the way he was playing, now he's borderline between 1-2 million and maybe even the vet's minimum. I don't want to see Sheed here at all, I'll just leave it there.
  9. I wasn't speaking directly to you, just in general.
  10. Rondo Big Baby Perkins Powe Garnett Allen Pierce If you can sit there and tell me that that core of 8 guys with some role players around them does not contend for a championship next year, then you're out of your wits. We don't need to do much work this offseason at all, I originally though that next year our window would be gone, but if it doesn't work out around mid-season, we could ship Ray off somewhere (hurts to say) with his 18.1 million expiring in order to get some younger fresher talent back.
  11. That loss hurt, a lot. The Magic were clearly the better team, and injuries FINALLY caught up to us. We should have won tonight though. Dwight got his 3rd in the 2nd quarter, for some reason when we came out, we decided not to attack him, and shoot jump shots. I don't know if this was Doc, or the guys on the floor, but that's pretty inexcusable. I can't count on my 2 hands how many huge shots Mikael Pietrus hit this series, they played awesome defense on Ray, hats off. But this series was lost by the Celtics. They looked complacent WAYYYY too often, Rondo refused to attack, and we just all around couldn't find a rhythm. In the end though, we brought in KG and Ray to win us a title. We got our title, you can't really be too upset right now. It was a fun year, and I enjoyed the run.
  12. Lucchino was at our school today, speaking for graduation, and he gave the president of my school some sort of bat or something, and some kid said kinda loud near the front that he should give it to Ortiz instead so he stops sucking for lack of a better term/not remembering the exact wording. Lucchino was flustered a bit to say the least.
  13. 100% agree with this, except I like Kessel more than you do. I think he can improve in his own zone, but he'll be pretty much what Sergei Samsonov was, but at a much higher level. Kessel would be a great asset to have, but what makes him expendable is the amount of money he will command in the market because of his goal scoring prowess.
  14. I don't care if he can move the puck, he handles it like a bumbling idiot inside his own zone, and turns it over way too much especially when he tries to clear the zone. I like Dennis a lot, but he really needs to shore that part of his game up, even if it does mean sacrificing some of his offensive skills. Montador and Wideman together was a disaster waiting to happen, and I'm not sure why Claude leaned so heavily on them in game 7.
  15. Montador + Wideman is why we lost. Why Julien put those guys together baffles me. I don't care if Wideman can push the pace with the puck or not, these guys f***ing suck defensively, have terrible instincts, can't clear the zone, and just f***ing blow defensively. f***.
  16. Chris Ianetta, C Ryan Theriot , SS
  17. gimme a bit, just got home from the B's game, trying to collect my thoughts will have picks in before i sleep
  18. Kick in the nuts. Montador better not wear the B again.
  19. I was trying to decide between him and Kershaw, thought that MAYBE he'drop to me a round later.
  20. The Globe said this morning that he was supposed to play last night but Francona wanted to hold him out to get him an extra day of rest, so I'd assume that he's playing today.
  21. I'm getting into the game at 630 so I can watch the Celts game at 7, so waiting for 600 is much better for me I guess. I'm a little worried Timmy throws another dud (like game 7 last year) but whatever, let's take their f***ing heads off.
  22. Pretty f***ing big game tonight. Can't wait to get into the Garden for this one.
  23. Penny vs. Santana http://www.tmz.com/videos?autoplay=true&mediaKey=62db3ebe-f2d5-4b75-92f7-04b06c08a54e Brad Penny, Chuck Liddell, and Chris Cooley on the track. Get it.
  24. He reminded me of a poor man's Hasheem Thabeet. Except less offensive talent, and not on Thabeets level shotblocking wise.
